Oo. Not good. I hope all of these issues get resolved soon. I had my mind set on the Hayame's, but I need to be sure that I get the ones I want!

VNlilMAN: how long have you had your coilovers on?

I had my Hayames set to a lower point than yours, and my car was still higher than in your pics! So maybe 0530.2.50.008 has the same problem? My case isnt as bad as SlammedBlue, but it still did not drop as much as I believed it would.

how heavy is your sub box?

I have this problem with a 50+ pound sub box.. without it my car might rest at the same height as SlammedBlue. btw, change your nick to SlightlyLowerThanStockBlueEM2

btw, mine were purchased through Dezod

I ordered from Urban Import, No problem. Arrived on Thursday, so these are the correct ones:

0700.2.50.008 & 0530.2.50.010 ???

I had them on for about 2 months now. The subs dont weigh that much, probably under 50. they're only 2 10" comps.

Are you saying your perch was set lower or the whole strut was set lower? cause right now the struts are as low as it can go. what size tires were you runnin again 215-45-17?

That's not even an inch of preload. But even with the preload being on it's softest setting it'd still be the same.

The ones that are NOT mine. They start with 4 #s instead of 2.

I wanna install mine on an RSX and see the results.

We don't know yet. We are waiting for UrbanImport to tell us that.

in the photo's I've posted, my strut's height was dropped ALL the way. I had them set to the lowest point before I even put them on the car. so take a look at my photos again, and look at my height.

I need to make this clear, NEITHER OF THE REAR SPRING NUMBERS WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRED RESULTS, only if you're planning on tucking the rear tire.

with my sub box out, I would be at the same height as SlammedBlue

I don't want to tuck the rear at all. At the least, I just want a 1/2 inch gap when I have a 1/2 from stock drop in the rear. If I can't get that then Hayame has disappointed me. Nothing against UrbanImport at all, he's been doin what he can.

At any rate, I said before that these springs take a long time to settle and now, I have a small finger gap in the rear. The car just seemed to get lower and lower all around, which ended up being a bad thing. Now I'm too low.

I'm going to raise the FRONT (sorry, edit) a bit and give the rear more preload since it's quite soft. The rear could also use some negative camber since I seem to have the rear tire hitting the wheel well. I didn't have that issue before my accident. I got a shitty alignment.
comparing to your newer pics, did it get that high because you put more preload? maybe you have more preload than i?

That pic was having the spring lowered on the perch with no preload. It was absolutely loose when the car was raised and the shocks would bottom out at THAT height. Keep in mind, I did not lower it like that, I had a shop do it. They said I couldn't go any lower because the spring was compressed. Well, WTF... it's supposed to be compressed at the LEAST!

I know it's sort of unrelated, but many of us with EP3's were curious about the fitment, and it turns out that the EM2 and EP3 have different upper mounts, and since these come with new upper mounts, they won't work on the EP3.

Ah well.

OK talked to Hayame this morning. They are trying to get ahold of the factory to see which is the correct part # for the rear as they don't have any instock to cross reference. As soon as they find out what the correct part # is they are ordering a bunch of them so we can take care of any people who might have received the incorrect rears. On behalf of Hayame I apologize for the trouble this has caused.

If you have a chance to talk to them again, ask them if there would be a way of offering some EP3 coilovers. If the upper mounts from the RSX are the same as those from the EP3, then I can't see why Hayame couldn't piece a kit together out of existing parts.

got your PM. I believe I should clarify that we believe that the upper mounts are different, but there is some things that don't make sense.

For example, people with EM2's are using the JIC magics which are for the EP3. If that is true, then they should work the other way too (except for the diameter of the camber bolts, which is a known issue).

Also does anyone know if these coilovers are full stainless?
Thanks alot.
