We've got EP3 JICs, they bolt right in. I think it would be easier for you to call a dealer or Hayame direct and order a custom set with the EP/EM/ES shocks and the RSX springs. Save the trouble of modifying the car.
if u live in orange county or L.A county area i can probably hook u up with hayame coilovers for a good price

hmm, these seem like a good alternative to what i was thinking of. so from what i gather they come with civic springs, is that correct? if so wouldn't it be benefitial to get some sport springs, etc.? i dont know too much about this stuff, not saying im completely oblivious to whats going on, but my knowledge on this stuff is limited
as for installing the stuts, very straight forward. good job.

sorry, let me clarify, genaric springs, same as civic OEM spec. from what i gathered, tokico/hayame struts, but the springs were unclear, just some random springs hayame threw on or what?
Anyone need Hayames or Teins in L.A county or Orange County i can get them for pretty good price

Alright, I just finished my front install on my Hayames.
The rear of the car is at it's highest (which is about 1/2 inch lower from stock) and the front is pretty much at stock height. I didn't bother adjusting the height yet because I wanted to feel how the car rides. I did add quite a bit of preload on all 4 struts.
The suspension is stiff, but tolerable. It bounces quick but not all out of proportion like being lowered on stock shocks. All in all, it's overall more comfortable. It's not soft with it's current preload but I never wanted a soft ride to begin with.
And it completely outclasses my previous set-up in terms of handling even at it's current height. I had my friend ride with me as well as drive - she was quite impressed and is interested in getting some herself down the line.
I also have a 22mm bar in the rear - the suspension is so sharp & responsive I'm a little reluctant to put on the front upper strut bar because it feels quite unforgiving already, but we'll see.
The only issue I ran into was that I had a squeaking noise in the rear right side. Maybe something settled as it sounds like it could be from the strut tower or it might be my camber kit because the car was recently in a minor accident. If I can't kill it, music will.
When braking hard the car doesn't lunge forward like it did before.
Hayame coilovers are awesome.
When I wake up, it'll be back to being slammed again with the finishing touch of a 4-wheel alignment.

okay i am looking at getting these because right now i have, eibach sportline springs and am about toget a body kit. I am scared that the w/ the eibachs i am going to scrape my body kit up i am not sure what they actually lowered to because theyre just spring on the stock shocks, but i know my car is 6 inches off the ground from the bottom of the drivers side to the ground. my ride is pretty smooth w/ the eibachs but i want to know how much stiffer the ride will be w/ these and is it better to get these so i can adjust them so my kit wont scrape, i already scrape my tanabe exhaust like everyday. so thanks for the help
