After reading this whole entire thread, I definetly want a set. I was just looking for some springs the other day and talking to some buddies about prices they could get me on some springs. But the thing was changin the shocks to koni's. If I got these Hayame's installed prof. what am I looking at $$$? And they come with shocks, if I read correctly? I don't think I could do them myself. Don't want to **** things up. Sounds simple enough according to everyone, but no way, unless someone near by knows how to do it. Hayame's on the charge card, priceless. If you don't have the cash, charge it.
$ 650 shipped---> Nice Nice
I've got a friend that has on 04, I'll spread the news.

Finally installed them today. Took me 7 hours with all the tools, because of the freaking tie rod. It took me one hour to take it out. Anyways, I took my time and everything looks perfect, no gap, but my steering wheel is a bit to the left, and I have front camber. I thought we're not supposed to have front camber. Can somebody help me, or I just have to get my alignment done and everything's gonna be ok??

If its anything like the stock struts, then you might have to swap them around the proper way. Reason being is the top of the strut is angled to sit flat against the the strut housing. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong thx.

Do we still need a front camber, cause my front is a bit cambered after installation?? I thought someone said we don't need it.

1 finger gap in the front. What do you think? I just bought the camber kit in the front, so doesnt' really matter, but I still want to know.

I can't say for sure, I'm not a 7g Civic Suspension pro, I'll let VNlilMAN answer this question.

No one needs a camber kit but one should be able to look at their own wheel and figure out if they would like to have one. Apparently with Hayame you won't need to use one for the front wheels. If you're talking about the rear then look at your own wheel and see how it's angled inward (negative camber). If it's facing inward too much, a camber kit will help prevent abnormal tire wear. I just put the rear camber kit in, and went to the alignment shop, and they told me I don't need a front one, all I need is an alignment. Now I have to wait till saturday, cause theire booked, and apparently theire the best in town.

Well, I guess I'm lucky as far as avoiding the back order on the Hayames, but Mike said mine should be shipped out today and on their way in my hands in the two days it takes to ship, cool. We'll see, I truly cannot wait, its just cold as bitter heck here though. Seems like the whole nation just got smacked with a snow storm here lately.

A car can handle greatly without the use of thicker anti sway bars but what decides how good the car handles for your taste? You. A thicker REAR anti sway bar will help the car steer quicker, but a thicker FRONT will cause the car to understeer. Because anti-sway bars are supplemental to spring compression/body roll (and not exactly necessary) you want the bars to help keep the suspension balanced. Adding a thicker rear would be a welcome improvement but maybe not a front. No matter what, the Civic will always understeer (it's front-wheel drive) but the last thing you want to find yourself in is complete oversteer from a suspension in the rear that's too stiff.
