My Hayame's are great i have them on my 03 and the ride is awsome but i have one question, I just put them on about a week ago and it is cold and snowy here and in the morning when i first drive the car and turn out of the parking space there is some sqweeking and popping sounds from the front for the first about 30 feet and then it doesn't do it anymore and want to know is this normal since its cold and new suspension or is there a problem.

you shouldn't have to do it to a 2001 because half way through the production year of 2003 honda changed companys of who made the front suspension it is still the same design of all 7th gen's but the holes and bolts are just bigger now in the front. You should be alright but if not just drill them.

Can someone please post pics up of these on their car? I have mine on order from a friend that owns a shop. But he has to wait until SPW gets more in stock (thanks to Mike @ Urban buying the last sets)
Should be another 3 weeks or so until I get them, but I'm ancy to see some pics of installs or the cars they're squatting in.
Thanks!

i have a feeling that with supply decreasing and demand increasing they might wanna raise the prices on these.... so i would suggest everyone buy asap. 650 is a damn good price and they sound really nice w/ their 3 locknut design unlike the B&G i have w/ 2 locknuts

The Hayame's are nice and I like the 3 perch design but one thing scares me. On the B&G's the part that connects to the steering arms is very thick and has vertical support, ie a triangular shape like a beam. With these, I see that they used a flat arm that looks durable, but under certain conditions may break. I mean, If you ever hit something or hit a large bump, it seems that those arms would start to bend. I may be wrong with the entire thing but that is just my eye assumption. I ofcourse will have to see for myself.

eh its actually not as weak as it seems in the pictures. there are other things that would break before that. And ya it wouldnt break, just bend if it does. The straight design actually helps with bumpsteer. On my stock struts with neuspeed race, my tie rods were pretty high and gave it a V shape but the straight design brings it back to the position it was at when it was stock.
