Full Review on Hayame Coilovers

I would also like to keep as much preload as possible of course.
I am riding on 215/40/17's & looking for about 2" gap between tire & fender. Any advise would be just super. Thanks Guys.

Anyway, you're going to have to adjust the bottom collar (which controls the height when the coilover is OFF the car) to align it to fit on the car. It doesn't really matter. Surely enough you're gonna end up installing it, putting the wheels back on to see where it's at, and then take off the wheels to correct it. As far as preload goes, adjust height first. Then adjust preload, but start from the least amount of preload and work your way up by 0.25 inches. You shouldn't need more than an inch of preload.
It would be stupid to lower all the way. For those people who go really low in the front might not realize they can't slide the jack from under the car once they put it down... and if they don't have anything to set the tires on so they can remove the jack, they're screwed and will have to raise the height of the car.
If the jack is stuck, find two guys to help you lift up the car probably by the fender well. It could bend but if you do it carefully enough, that jack will come right out. When I had my BG's all the way down I had to do that to get it on a lift evertime I did my oil.

my rears are 62.135.010, just like slammed which explains our similar situation. i also got mine from urbanimport, probably the same batch too. i'm curious to know where the people with different part no. got theirs from?
my rears are also 62.135.010, and i have the rears lowered as far as they will go, and have next to no preload on them, and the gap is much higher than the front, also got mine through urban import.

This is bullshit. I am not having a good evening. My post didn't even go through.
Anyways, UrbanImport answer me this:
1. Why are some of us getting mis-matched rear springs within the Civic orders?
2. Why is it that the RSX springs are being given to us? If that's the case, some of us must be running 6kg front/10kg rear (RSX) or some RSXs must be running 8kg front and 8kg rear (Civic) since they had height issues too. I'm not assuming it, but how else could these height issues be here?
I'm pretty ticked. I just spent $950 in car parts within the last 30 days and all my orders were ****ed.

Hayame was not aware of this issue, I talked to them about it this afternoon. I'm trying to get something worked out.

That doesn't sound like an issue Hayame would need to be aware of OR would need to fix, unless I'm horribly mistaken that you just admitted to tampering with the suspension set-ups out of complete unprofessionalism. But then again, maybe Hayame needs a new vendor?
And why did some Hayame collars come without the Hayame labels on them? At this point, all we know is that those possibly have no height issues either.

Sorry, my sarcasm button must have been broken. I did not do anything to anybody’s coilovers. That was just my rebuttal to posts, emails and phone calls I have been getting from coilover customers who seem to think I am the one to blame when something is wrong or they can't figure out how to adjust something with their coilovers.
Just to clear things up. I neither manufacture, assemble, package, repackage, open, modify or rip labels off of the Hayame coilovers. The product comes to me, I sell it and put a UPS label on it. This isn't to say I don't stand behind the products I sell. As stated in the above post I talked to Hayame today about the problem with the springs and I am waiting to hear what they plan on doing about it.

i meant $250 for 2... i'm thinking kumho agx(? their new one). They have a 400 treadwear opposed to the 712 with a 280.
Sorry, I didnt have time today and I was hoping I could hold off but to sort out some confusion, i promise i'll try my best to get the rear spring numbers for you guys. I'll also take pictures of my drop on stock 14s. I'll also try to get a DIY for everyone since it seems as if most dont know how to adjust these...
And ya as urbanimport has stated he has brought this up with hayame regarding this issue. I'm sure he'll be able to resolve this... but ya i'll try my best to get part numbers tomorrow night...

I basically have no gap. Well you can say i have like .1-.3in depending on the angle you look at it(I also have my fenders rolled slightly) but its basically none. I also have subs in the back that lower its slightly as well(i'll take them out and take pictures tomorrow, too tired right now). Slammed also has tires that have .16in less gap. Not sure if this adds up to the difference
That's the height I want to be at in the rear with preload... or even a little bit higher with MORE preload. THAT I would not mind or fuss about.
So your springs have no #s on it? I want yours!
Oh yeah, uploading pics of my ride's height.

OK, so here is what I have:
Should I not put these on, due to some wrong part number thing?
That is also a pic of my DH-Racing Ported Head, just arrived & I couldn't resist. Still waiting on my new CAM & built block before I install it. But I wanted to put the coilovers on, without problems obviously, so do I have the right ones?
