Hayame's spring rates are common for a Civic. It offers better handling without a super rough ride - unless you are wearing 18 inch wheels.

That's the shock. You do have some control over the stiffness. The stiffness of a ride with (most) full coilovers does not depend soley on how stiff your shocks are, but you can get the best out of the car's spring rate by compressing them, which is preload. By compressing the spring, you can get a stiffer or softer ride (depending on the spring rate of course) More preload = stiffer ride, less = softer. But if the spring rate is too high, you're going to want adjustable shocks.

yes adjust the 1st and 2nd(the ones right below the spring) on the rear as high as you can without having to use too much force
the front, just adjust it so the spring doesnt move around
after than use the 3rd locknut to adjust it to your desire height.

^^^ bingo.... thats dead on. The softest you can make the springs is to loosen them, then retighten them to the point where the spring is just held in place by the perch. I'd go 1/2 a turn past the spring being locked in place just to be sure.

Measure from the top of the threads to the top of the lower mount on the coilover before you put it in... then turn them so they're equal on both sides. Then when you go to change the height, turn them equally. 1 turn on my JICs is 2mm of ride height... so you can evenly adjust from there by drawing some marks on the perches and counting turns.
ok, I just want to make sure about something. I will probably be ordering my hayame coilovers today from urban import. 1. are they still 650$ shipped? 2. are they in stock? 3. will they definately work on an 02, LX, sedan?. any info will be appreciated

WTF???
You mean cornerweight? That has nothing to do with the ride height. Thats just adjusting the preloads so the car has balanced crossweights.

Yo Boiler, right now i tighten the springs as tight as i could, so i have more of a preload and the ride is a thousand times better, when i losened the springs the stiffer the ride was... Now that i tightened the springs my car is sitting higher, so i need to lower the car with the 3rd lock nut which also means i need to disconnect it from the control arm and all that, right? so lowering and raising the height is not quick and easy, correct?
To adjust the height, you tighten the top two and loosen the very botton lock nut. Use the wrench to turn the spring/strut around with the very top locking nut. If you don't see the threads moving, then tighten the first two tighter. Lock it with the 3rd nut when done.

gotta try that. Right now I have no preload on the front, and some on the back
damn **** mad confusing..wen i lower the springs all the way down..thats wen my car is low..but wen i tight the spring..my car sit high..wat do i do? and wen i try to turn the strut left..it wont let me anymore..do i turn it toward the right?
TO URBANIMPORT...Mike i just took a look at my coilover system..and the back rear are messed up..the left side has a black bushin inside the spring..and the right side donT...i know i couldnt do it cuase u would have to take the whole strut and spring apart..wat should i do now? everytime i put the 2 locknut up..the ride is higher...and wen i put it down itz low..but the preload is off..wat do i do?
Can you email me a picture? michael@urbanimport.com

Its seriously not that hard... you guys are making it sound harder than it is...
use the 1st/2nd perch to adjust preload, use the 3rd to adjust the height.
