Rep Power: 296 I think its the tree branches that make your eyes hurt. I just loved the bark and how it went out of focus.

Download Picasa, its free from google, its 10x better than Windows Picture Viewer.

Rep Power: 270 Not of very good quality since I was shooting facing the sun and the glass window was kinda dirty, but here's a sample with my 70-300.
Zoom zoom zoom!!
The building is exactly 300 meters away, and the huge painting about 340 meters away. 1st pic is at minimum zoom, 2nd is at max
not to brag, but at this distance with this lens, you can actually see the face of a person

Rep Power: 410 OKAY!!! new type of photography: rig shot. here's my go at an in-car POV. this was REALLY easy to set up.
please excuse the shitty quality. this is straight from the camera and resized/watermarked in MICROSOFT PAINT.

Rep Power: 270 Yo Infinite! it's blury but that's tight though, how did you take that shot?
here's one with Aperture priority. Miami Skylines yo!! wow, one could get really creative with these cameras, they are amazing!
I didn't have a tripod so it's a blurry too

Rep Power: 410 that shot is AWESOME!!! try using a longer shutter speed and a a bigger f/# to get star effects on all the little street lights. if you can get the shutter to hold down for longer than 30 seconds, you can even get a milky sky (clouds are moving == cool effect).
and those two pics i posted were taken with a tripod mounted inbetween the seats. it was raining a little bit when i took these shots so i was in a hurry.

Rep Power: 270 Whoa! 30 secs? had no idea it could stay open that long?
yeah, this building is the highest in Downtown Miami, it offers an awesome 360 view of the whole city both day and night. I will take better shots once I use my tripod

Rep Power: 410 put the camera into one of the manual modes and set your slow down your shutter speed. you should have down to 30" shutter speed and you should also have a BULB feature. for you to open your shutter for longer than 30", you will need a remote.

Rep Power: 231 For lightning I just set the shutterspeed for as long as I can, which is like 15 sec on my camera, and just hope to get some. I'm still messing around with the f-stop and stuff to see the differences it makes.
