Re: Portland
HID's are pretty straight forward. Probably was the easiest thing I had to do when I did the 04-05 front end conversion.
And Triz...It sounds like you're going to need to go 5-lug to be happy. Find a base model RSX that's wrecked and you're golden

Re: Portland
lol well things that are self explanatory never really turn out for me. I'm hoping its all just plug and play but I'm assuming its not. I'll probably be bothering both of you for help and advice when I get them shipped to me. Gotta call today to pay the stupid 12 dollar shipping.

Re: Portland
What was the problem with axles when running RSX wheels? Do you remember?? I always thought they werent worth it unless kswapped. But yeah, everyones a dick way over on the eastcoast that has the parts for a read disc conversion. Super pain in the *** to find a wrecked 02 SI to grab the rear brakes off of.

Re: Portland
5-lug swap should be bolt on. The only variable is if you have bolts that are rusted in place...Which are a bitch to get out of suspension parts

Re: Portland
Idea on how much this would cost?
..I emailed a few guys on craigslist parting out RSX's to see how much it would run, but no responses.

Re: Portland
ah man. Just figured out I have to take off my front bumper again to put the HID's on
. I'm not so sure where I should put the little ballast box at though I got some zip ties with it so if you have any suggestions that'd be great
. I might make an attempt this weekend to get it done.

Re: Portland
I was goin to run the harness wiring across that piece but the little ballast box needs to be mounted somewhere near the headlight cause the plug isnt that long. I might give it a try since I hear the weather is goin to be nicer.
haha yeah cant wait to see the blazers game on saturday. I went to the nuggets game on wednesday and watched the blazers whoop ***!

Re: Portland
^^ Nice man, I had to work but went to raido shack and picked up some goodies so I could get the game over my stores radios that we carry to talk between associates.. so I was rocking the ear piece and nobody knew I was listening to the game when I was ringing customers up and all that. Rudy took the lead for the association's most 3pts in a season! Oh playoffs are going to be ridiculous.
You know where to get that shirt with B Roy going crazy after he hit the buzzer beater 3 earlier in the season? They made it into a B&W image on a tshirt (i think it was khaki colored???) and I want it. I saw it on the blazers game on comcast sports network a few times once they clinched a playoff spot.

Re: Portland
hahah nice TRIZ. I loved the nuggets game looks like 2 fights were about to break out lol. That was pretty crazy when Rudy got the most 3 pointers didn't know that was comin up for him lol.
not sure about the shirt I haven't seen it. Check out ebay for it i'm sure someone's selling it there. If not i'll ask my brother in law he's a big blazers fan so he might know where to get some stuff like that.

Yeah.. that guy is nuts. He says he has a custom intake manifold.. I'd be interested in seeing that, but I'm sure he means header... which of course isnt custom, nothing is custom on that car. *sigh*

Re: Portland
You should make me a moderator
Most of the 7thgen mods that are possible I have memorized. I've even got a few on the drawing board that haven't been done yet, but not enough money to dump into R&D

Re: Portland
I'd say 25-35% of what they cost new stock would be reasonable. Price them out at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
