Re: Portland
Yeah, but when your spraying that will kill the motor quick... and running it hard will screw with it as well. Just worried about head warp and all that.
I could buy the package and sell you the header when you get the money.

Re: Portland
I spent ~325, maybe more, on my DC race header... used, but in really good condition.
Maybe I'll put the other header on and compare the two... shoot.
Just got more mileages from Djmota.. says the head has around 65 on it... not bad, and even less on the header.

Re: Portland
The dc race header doesnt need a cat because its from the head to the "catback" no cat needed.. same length as the HP header. I've only had the race header on there for a month and a half or so, and only driving between work and home, need new tires to take it on the back roads.. but need rims first =( None ever strike me on craigslist

If those are 15's, I think they'd look baller on Rallye Red.

Re: Portland
I'm looking for super light bronze or gold rims... the super light part is the problem, everything is over stock rim weight, which is 15 lbs for a stealie.

Re: Portland
I was thinking maybe getting HX rims and going gold/bronze with them, but then I cant upgrade the brakes down the road kuz oversized rotors wont fit... Totally sucks. I need new tires kuz mine are some shitty toyos that squeal even around a right hand turn at 20, i've always hated them... they have a little tred left, but need to be replaced asap.. I'm thinking 16's are the way to go. I'm not looking for baller status, i'm looking for a light rim that performs well, and looks good.
Re: Portland
yeah i'm not really a fan of the tires I have either. Sometimes when I take off I peel out a little bit kinda pisses me off. Well I guess its best to just wait and get what you want when it shows itself. I wanted to get the fat 5's or some 17's not sure which would be better though.

Re: Portland
Yeah sure I'll let you know if I find something like that. Usually better to check on CL for cars though.
Found someone sellin Si rims for 400 w/ 2 bald tires though. Said he'd give me 2 new tires for 450 all together. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/pts/1113518874.html I might go have a look at them and check the curb rashes if its really bad hopefully I can pick them up for a lot cheaper than 400ish lol.

Re: Portland
I want a rear disc break conversion from an 02 civic SI.. I'd take the steering wheel too. LMK if you come across any in the junk yards.. or a spare headliner, preferably in tan.

Re: Portland
Pretty easy... making a new harness takes more skill, but its not to hard either. I'd wait though.
Just got back from hiking multnoma falls 2 hours ago... did like a 5 mile hike right up the mountain... geeze. that was rough and its muddy as **** up at the top. Great work out.

Re: Portland
Oh I must be confused on what your waiting for, I thought it was the harness? To install HID's its just a few zip ties to hide the ballast and then slide the bulbs in, the harness its pretty intuitive as well.

Re: Portland
I would def buy these rims but they are 5 lug.. GERRR
Weds Sport Racing wheels TC-005
16" x 7" (+48)
Super light weight 12.7lbs each!
http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/pts/1119198631.html
Not a huge fan of the style.. but can powerdercoat them.
http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/pts/1110788890.html
Rota circuit 8's... in bronze.. +1lb over stock weight of a 15 inch stealie.. so in actuality they are probably lighter, and there would be less rubber..
