I'm about 6 hours north.. lol.
Weather up here's pretty nice right now. I'm trying to take in all the sunlight before the 10 months of nasty weather kicks in over in western WA state

So.. Wondering if a meet will get developed before the end
of this month or next month? Don't know how exciting it would be
for 2 or 3 members.
Anyone have any friends who would join us maybe for some wings
and some pool after a meet up

Oh man, how come I missed this thread!!
I'm from the pdx area, but I'm in eugene to finish up my 5 year accounting program. I'm down!!!!! I drive up to PDX every few weekends or so. And I dont have class fridays, so I can usually peace out and shoot up I5 on thursday night. While I'm not a fan of wings, I do have my own pool cue!

Yeah, living out at the end of the oregon trail must suck... like yeah the history is cool and all, but dodging wagon wheels on the walk to your car probably gets pretty old. You'll like portland, its not very cheap, but nothing is these days. We'll have to have a meet- hopefully the other guys (and girls) that posted in this thread will be able to come through some weekend. Hit me up when your in the city.

Re: Portland
Oh, when you get to town and your stomach's grumbeling- head over to pionner mall, hit up the food court and there is this place called sukihanna (sp??) and they have this stuff called coconut chicken... its amazing, I wish I could get it here in eugene on my study breaks. Or there is a place just to the left of it called Thai Go... their thai go chicken is pretty good, but always gives me a stomach ache. random thought!

I hate moving. Even though I got a pretty kick *** place, in my opinion, I still hate moving. At least only have a two mile commute to work on McLoughlin

Re: Portland
Thats pretty cool. I was thinking about heading back to town for the weekend, but I've been consumed with sports like crazy. Basketball game friday- UO won (101-58), and then watched the game on tv at a buddies place vs ASU (35-23), yeah that means UO is 4th in the country now. Hollars.
So I didnt make it to town even though I really wanna get outta this town and see my family again. I had to settle for calling them. I'm looking forward to being up there for most of my winter 1 month vacation.
Thats whats up wit me.

I'm game - I make my own schedule for my department at work so I can pretty much take off whenever I want.

Whats up man- you have any pictures of your ride up that we can check out- and would you be down for a mini meet sometime in december?
Get a bite to eat, take some pictures, go for a cruize or something.

Re: Portland
Alright, winter break it is for me. That means I'm back in town for a few weeks. I am working 40 hrs a week and my schedule is always changing- which makes it hard to plan, but if anyone is down for a meet- I can let you know a week in advance of what days I have off or could meet up. As for this week, I dont have any days off after tomorrow and close the rest of the week- meaning I dont get out till 1am-ish.
