Would have loved to go, but I will be carless then.. well I guess I could take my mother's corolla, but I hate that thing. Hmms, guess I'll decide that day... Still think we need to organize other meets. I'm still thinking about invading the EP hatch meet on Sunday, but I think we need something regular

Yes Marc, as in the Ottawa thread great job - thanks again for the help/teaching a newbie new things
Works good still and I can't wait to get it into summer mode already
Just have to decide really want %s of tint - thinking 35% front and 20% rears, but might just go with 35% all throughout.

Kinda realize now why you were cursing that your cat blew already .. hasn't been that long since you got your exhaust system in so yeah ****. Guess I should wake myself up a little bit more than think it was 5-6 years old
Though here's a noob question, how'd you know it was blown?

Ah okay, you learn something new everyday..
Like learning the aftermarket product world doesn't want to let you get your hands on an altezza/type-r grill
Not like I haven't already been burnt with it, but
it was the proper box - why couldn't it be the proper product in it
Bah, let's hope the re-order gets the proper grill. *sigh* In related news, anyone want to purchase a RS grill that I still have awaiting word for its replacement to come in?

Who have a short shift adaptor here?
Any feedback to give me?
I am thinking to get one, don't know if I should! I am still wondering if it's a "nice to have" or a "need to have"...

I know nindoo drove FaZe's car for a little bit to see what it was like, could ask him too I guess.. I'd lean towards "nice to have" but what do I know about manuals
Could always search in the 7thgen board about shifters to get a more global opinion on it though.

The one I currently have on my car...
http://www.viscoustech.com/
The throw is shorter than the popular Revo, more affordable and it uses the OEM shifter assembly (solid, won't break unlike the Revo). The only downfall is the shifter height will remain the same as opposed to the Revo. Installation was a breeze (less then 10 minutes for me) and wow, I can't imagine driving this car without a short shifter.

I read some good comments about this one... Where did you bought it and for how much???
Nothing special involved in the installation? No drilling, cutting, etc?
I have an RSX shift **** too...
No drilling, nothing... just simply remove cotter pins... add adapter... use cotter pins provided.. and voila...
You order it directly online at viscoustech.com
65$ + 5$ for international shipping
so 70US total (takes around 3-4 days to get here by USPS Global Priority)

Any other interested in it? maybe we can try to order together and pay just one shipment (or even better have a rebate on the adapter itself!!!)... some kind of group buy.
Let me know....

You have to remove the entire console for sure... (it takes 2 minutes anyways)

I believe there are still a bunch of EP3 civics (out of ephatch.com) meeting up this Sunday (11am->.. ) in Laval (Carrefour Laval 2nd level parking). I was planning on dropping in there, but well
no car for me so
Hopefully there are others amongst us willing to take a trip down to Toronto May 7th to meet other members of 7thgencivic. I know I'll be heading down for sure - pretty sure FaZe is also. I know I spoke with a couple others who were iffy. I know its a long drive, but its nice to meet others with the same passion/hobby/interest as you
And don't use the excuse that my car is stock - as I went last year to the BBQ meet and was practically stock
Lastly, Xenin wanted to try and meet up with a bunch of us the long weekend of May. I don't know my plans for that weekend at present, but if I'm around I'd easily meet up. Anyone want to roll with it and throw out possible meet destination and times? I think BeLowMe mentioned Sunday (May 22) evening would be best for him. Any others ?

Short shifter ViscousTech
I just received an e-mail from ViscousTech.
As Faze told me, the price for one complete adaptor is 70$US shipping included (cheaper than any other good brand) = 86$CDN.
When ordering more than one, we can have a discount on the shipping.
If we order 10 or more, they can also give a discount on the adaptor itself.
So what do you think? any interested!
SUPERFLY, is there any 7thgener that you know on CCQ that may be interested?

I just found another RSX-type S shifter for sale!
If you don't have one, jump on this one. It's one of my favorite lost-cost mod!

Here a pic of what it look like in my car. Notice that it shorten the shifter by more that 1 inch!

It's less than 100$ for a Magnaflow high flow cat.
