What brought that upon Pat? Another offer somewhere else or just fed up of stuff/not being treated right?

I was leaving home at 6h45 to be at the job for 8h00 and left the place at 17h00 so i would not be home before 18h00... So if i wanted to find something else and go to different interview, it would not have been posible.
So ill try to find something on the south shore... No more bridge!

No vacation or sick days to take (to go to other interviews while keeping the job) ? At least that is what my brother-in-law did.
Though in any event, completely understand how you hate the commute (especially since beginning of September). As for me, this job is "slack-schedule" as my supervisor put it and only need to come in for 10. Still have to deal with the traffic issue leaving the job, but thats when discovering all sorts of back roads gets interesting.
Though with a dropped car, makes for an even bumpier ride
At least for now you can enjoy some slack time again. With the warmer days it is perfect at this time of year - at least to me. A lot less bugs to deal
Sure, is not the best for beach/swimming outside but dress properly and outdoor events could be undertaken
In other news.... I'm slightly dreading going back to the garage to check on my hole patched wheel. It is a little wobbly - I've reconfirmed the bolts without help so
on what it is. Assuming bent but does hold air - or maybe its the joint.. in any event, tomorrow is going to be a long day. And time to go hunting for audio cabling
(which reminds me that I may in fact need those trunk springs, but we'll see on fitment later on this week (hopefully)).

Eventually Pat - basically when I decide to jack the car up for winter I'll hound you
The tire is not leaking. The problem is the rim looks shaky while driving. Don't know if its the joint or the rim is bent, but it is holding the air so
Woohoo, a warped rim. Yeah, I'm so happy I can hardly contain myself

I just sent 2 of my wheel to P.Jacques myself for a slight repair, I had vibrations around 120, gotta love the road workers a.k.a. @ssholes that grind the asphalt on a few kilometers and leave a 2+ inch raise at the end.
I went to St-Eustache for some time attack on sunday, I'm addicted to lapping now. Here's a nice pic.

The problem is that I really don't want to go any lower than this (1.75). I'll have to find some springs with the same drop but a higher spring rate.
I'll also need a front strut bar an X brace and a rear lower tie bar. Bigger sway too... I like a stiffer car on the track. Details I can fix this winter, I'll be installing my new Brembo rotors and Hawk HP+ pads this morning.

Tokico D-Spec
Prokit
Neuspeed front strut bar
Tanabe front underbrace
Rear lower tie bar
Rear strut bar (... mainly to attach my boombox!)
Front 2001 sway bar 25.4mm (but thinking to go back to a 15.9mm (to induce more oversteer).
Rear RSX sway bar 19mm
BTW, the shocks and spring are still in the box...
I am too lazy or I am too buzy to install them!!!BTW superfly there is also a OEM "performance" bar that you can add on your front sub-frame... Honda put it on 2002+ civic. I guess a front strut bar do the same...
2001 sub-frame

2002 sub-frame (item #11 or 10, I guess it depends on the transmission

Looks like you definitely had fun Jim - glad to hear.
I haven't even really looked into my wheel problems to see if they are fixable. Basically at this point just looking to go another couple of weeks (they are tolerable for me) and then figuring out if they are repairable/worth keeping. Only time will tell.
Glad my car is back from the major issue of last week - now moving onwards to get the car back to 100% (or closer to it) form. Thankfully now I'm getting the time moreso as I've cut down one job to half days (though I already miss the money

I installed my new front brakes this week-end: Brembo plain + PBR ultimate pad! With my new airtools & air compressor that I got for present.
Wow I love this brake set-up! way better than OEM! Pretty good upgrade.
But it was a pain in the a$$ to change! My OEM disk were stock in rust! I was not able to remove the bolts holding them, so I finally opted for the drill solution! Then they were still stuck to the hub, so I finally manage to get them off with a lot of help from a hammer!!!

Do you know the size of the bolts needed? I'll go get some for my next job brake! For the screws, I drilled them, then they broke apart. I didn't need to grind them, I was able to remove them with some plier.
HP+ must be a hell of a pad! I wanted something quiet, 4 seasons and more streetable that's why I went with PBR ultimate... but even with them if I brake like I used to do the front wheels lock
I have to relearn how to brake...What are you using for the rear wheels?
I know... I was just not able to find a bolt that fit these holes in my garage!

Yeah... the HP+ are break dust factories and noisy as hell. People stare at me when I come to a light like my brakes are finished. I feel like asking them ''Wanna test me at the next light?''
I had to relearn to brake also, especially in wet weather. The rear is stock and will stay that way. I have to open them up this winter for some new pads maybe. Unless someone with a rear disk conversion tells me that it brakes straight and hard and at proper proportion under heavy breaking and convinces me to go that route. 15 minutes of lapping at St-Eustache convinced me that the actual setup is very efficient.

I don't normally buy from the steal --- err I mean dealership. My air filter tends to be NAPA Gold ones, which is in the 20$ range or so.. Most dealers should have air filters in stock though.
I'm calling for a meet this weekend, I know it's last minute but I'd like to attend one with you guys before sh#t starts falling on our heads.
Edit : Sunday or monday would be the best for me. Maybe Julep would be a good spot. How about sunday @ noon?
