Sat is fine basically.. when and where Jamie and/or anyone else? :-p I'd probably suggest a more middle ground (like I have done before with Julep) but with something in mind moreso. Like a cruise down to the waterfront (Lachine / Parc Rene-Levesque) or Ile Ste-Helen/Parc Jean Drapeau .. somethin or other - just decide on that prior instead of just ______
I'll just bug you about that fun stuff/time of year at SCP then Erik

Welcome aboard Mike. Car looks like a decent start - though trying to figure out if that is a clear eye-lid or just a reflection. As for someone to help, so you don't mess your oem **** up. I've opened headlights before, not that big of a deal and of course I've also closed them, but don't look at my current pair - as well I was in a rush and I cut the silicone adapter too much
I do eventually have to redo them, but that leads me to my only bad part about helping which would be time. Unfortunately that one commodity is in very short supply these days. Maybe in two weeks or so but couldn't even confirm that at the moment.
As for painting, I'm not the greatest there for sure - but its half the fun of modding yourself
Though people that might be able to shed some pointers/help there would be RedViking and/or SuperFly. Though again, probably a little tougher with their schedules to help out - but I'm sure they'll reply in this thread eventually.
The one thing I might ask before you undertake any task on the rims, you have a second set of wheels to roll on - or you doing a lot of work in one day kind of thing? Because to properly paint your rims, it would include a few long tasks (if not physically then time wise - such as sanding, waiting for paint to dry, waiting for clearcoat to cure/dry).
Oh, and if you want a headlight to attempt work on before you dive into yours oems, I have a busted light (mounting brackets are gone on it).
----------------------------
Back to the idea of meeting again.. instead of meeting Saturday (as my "free" day is now becoming a day of work (either on painting a deck or working on renovating a store or both), how does Sunday evening sound for people? Basically trying to Honda meet out of MR - http://forums.montrealracing.com/sho...d.php?t=371947
They are looking to meet at Marche Central for 6:30pm. I know I could not get there that early - more like 7:30-8, but hopefully we can help expand that meet. Anyone interested??

Paint wheels and headlight is very easy. I don't really have time to give you a hand but I can give you advise if you want, as I done both of these mods.
There is some good DIY on this website. Just follow them they are well written.
The headlight is pretty straight forward.
The wheels depending of their current state it can be easy also. It also depend on what color you want them... mine are flat black so it was easier.
Let me know if you want some advises!

Is steve having a reverb kit? I really don't remember what it looked like...
Yes, i think it would fit for the front. For the rear, i would need to cut the rear bumper where the exhaust is. As for the sides, i really don't know if they got the same lenght as our seddan.... I would assume it's the same but who knows.
Make me a good price, how much for the whole lip kit with the trunk lip?

The sides fit... coupé and sedan has the same wheel base. But, I am already waiting for them...
But if you take whole kit I may let them to you... if your are kind... very kind since you still own me something for the V2!!!

Good price at Honda is not enought...
How much do you think it would cost to paint the whole set silver + the trunk lip?

Could be better then aftermarket ABS lips!

The sides, again, same length as stated so should. (though as Steve's are, just have to ensure the rears do not stick up, blocking the rear doors).
The rear I'm still iffy about. However, Steve's kit does already have modifications done to it - ie muffler hole enlarged.
Now, as for the second comment - do not see how it "could be better" .. as well, to my knowledge, both would be ABS. But maybe I'm missing something here.

OEM usually have better fitment, while aftermarkets may have fitment issue. But, you could be lucky!

I'll agree that urethane > abs plastic > fiberglass, but I am not agreeing that Steve's kit = urethane
To my knowledge Steve's kit = ABS plastic - or maybe just parts.. or maybe because it isn't my car I don't know what the hell I'm talking about

Ill check that, did't think about that point. How much lower will it look with side skirt in inch?
It does not matter, it will be even better since my exhaust will need to be centered in that hole + ill need a new tip since i lost mine. It look's like i got a stock exhaust now

why are you showing a picture of a silver coupe? Okay the sides are the same as Steve's, but the set-up looks like a veloz one - not the type-B.The height would depend on your drop in my belief. Should be the same from coupe/sedan for the front lip.
As for the sideskirt, how much lower does Steve's car look? Basically comes down another inch to my knowledge. The comment I was making though is how the skirt is designed from coupe > sedan. With coupes, sometimes the ends curl upwards - because they do not have a rear door (take the WingsWest kit for instance). However some skirts are designed for coupes that fit sedans, just need to be like the pictures and moreso just straight.
Lost your tip?! Seems as strange as me losing one of my lugnuts

Always seems to be in a long weekend when something goes bad with the car.
It is like it knows it cannot get fixed till later and stranding me a little.
Oh well, slight ghetto styling it with my worn down winter steelie on one corner it is. Stupid road debris making it get a flat. At least the nail hole look fixable.

Not off-hand. Not the end of the world as I don't need to drive my car far to get to the garage on Tuesday morning. Just going to make me a zombie for Tuesday during work
