We don't care, we've already have seddans....

Come on kids, jumps right in!

When you change dealer, it's normal to have problem... like in the exemple, they should have gone back to honda and asked for a seddan, not going to subaru that will say to honda that they stole one of their client and to take their car back....

Stay in the same brand or think of your future need like i did... so you wont get srued...

Long live to our 7th gen, the lucky 7 Once modified and with no stock suspension...

Even Hondaground forum is dying..... It seems that winter is hitting us more rapidly this year or may be its all the rain that we had during all summer weekend that killed tunners....

Hey Simpaty,

Look at this DIY:
http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=86877

Then, check with your Honda contact at how much we can get one of these...

If it's 30$-40$ I think it is worth it!

I think I'll do it! It look easy to do... plus I have this control on my remote door opener (Lebeau)... the wire is hanging under the dash!

Will you do it?

I went to Excel Honda to get my car looked at today and my front shocks need to be replaced because they are leaking I was quoted at 800 Anybody know a good independent Mechanic around downtown or the decarie expressway (close to Namur or De La Savane metro)?

On The positive side I have to replace my Trunk weather stripping and it's only $36 from the dealer!!! The inspection of my car was also free

Nope, it's an 01 warranty went bye bye. While out on the test drive with the mechanic to isolate the problem he said something about a recall being issued for the shocks too lol

They should change your shock free if its the OEM shock that were on the car in 01... the garage can always arange something for you if you just purchased the car and it was a gandma before you...

Hey guy, So i took it to a mechanic this week and those bastards at Excel Honda lied to me my shocks did not need to be replaced at all. It was my lower control arm bushings that were bad and needed replacement (No wonder those guys at Excel Honda didn't charge me for the diagnostics) Job only cost $172 instead of the 800 excel wanted for my "bad shocks" It should have been common sense on my part too, shocks are gas filled and can't leak slowly like excel said.

If anybody in the montreal area needs a good mechanic I highly recommend inter-royal II on de la savane street!

The ones on the front needed to be replaced. I'm not sure if it was a hard or easy job. Garage had it done in about 2 hours only

Well not that I think of... wait...

I now have a DC5-R rear sway bar (22mm)

Oh and, I was also going for a VTEC head swap... but it did not pass the marital concil ... the head is almost sold right now. Anyone interested before it's gone?

And finally, I am working on a D16Y8 Intake manifold swap... but did not touched this project since a while... I was blocked by the EGR return channels (04-05 engine has that on the D17a1 as the a2 ). But, I was working this project using the VTEC head in the garage. If I sell it, then the Y8 IM swap project will died there... I don't feel like fooling around with my real engine!!! I need my car working!

Does it really make a difference... plus it must be tough since you might need to change/reprogram the ecu...

Don't like the new design of the site... when I need a general honda/civic site I go to Hondaground.com...

See you there!
