They say an image is worth a thousand words, well here's one of my week-end.
Started wednesday with a weird noise in the tranny, NoRedline took the whole engine out, it's actually quicker than removing the subframe to get to the tranny. It was a f#cked bearing in the tranny, most of them will be replaced, plus some more head and cam work while it's out.

Sounds like you'll be having fun for the next little bit Will .. hopefully it turns out to be easier than you think (at least I always think the worst so
)
A picture is definitely worth a lot more Superfly. Thanks for them.. even with an engine car still looks good
Sucks to hear about though - how long you expected to be car-less again?
And when is the K24 (assuming since its not a K20) expected to be in the car? - considering you've just well recently gone the full n/a way with your D17 cam and engine work..

I'll run my D17 until K swaps are more common and less expensive. It would be useless to put all this work into it and put it away. Should be without my civic for 1-2 weeks, it will have a rebuilt tranny, more agressive cam and higher compression, NoRedline also would like to fit the Y8 intake, it should happen, the stock one really sucks with it's 55 mm. throttle body.

on the time without your civic - we all know that feeling and dislike it.
Before I forget - how does your current cam set-up match up against the Crower specs SUPERFLY? http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=212131

There's also a Fairview worker with an 04 on ?17s? chrome that I've seen on a couple of occasions.. Then again, looking around you'll get to see more and more ... just not really active on this site. Last edited by Karumba; May 16, 2005 at 06:32 PM. Reason: Forgot about cam specs question

Interesting twist I wonder how this worked out, "Garantie légale: Classe C : 1 mois ou 1,700 km.
Garantie du concessionnaire: BALANCE DE GARANTIE PROLONGEE ACURA JUSQU`EN MARS 2010 OU 130,000 KILOMETRES "
Maybe the warranty doesn't include everything, but that's a nice looking car indeed.

Like I've said before, can always go on a Montreal to Ottawa cruise on Saturday for the Honda-Tech meet. Unforunately, yeah nothing is planned exactly locally
.. I'd easily meet up, but well - I realized yesterday in line for SW3 talking with my brother that its my future brother-in-law's birthday today - so my afternoon is consumed. Could always try to get something going to go see the under mentioned show..

Though well .. it looks like I may not be leaving with the gang from Fairview in the morning (a small premeet started from MR.com for 10, leave at 10:30 - behind Reno Depot area). I know xXJDMCivicXx is going, however he is a passenger. He has to figure out with work when he's going. Thread Starter

From where? Believe RMR's price was 143+tax but you'd have to call to confirm .. and I only checked with them recently for FaZe (I didn't price compare elsewhere .. as I did that before when I bought my own bar last summer) .. perhaps if you both still need to buy you can arrange something and get a little more off

I've bought my Neuspeed bar at RMR in January. I paid 138$ +tx, but it was in special... see this link: http://www.montrealracing.com/upload/RMR.pdf

I didn't say it was going to be easy .. but yeah if they have to order them (most likely) maybe some discount could be arranged if it was for more than 1.
But yeah, going back to when I purchased mine, RMR was the cheapest. AJ was the runner up.. course I didn't check every shop that I know of now.. but I had checked out 4 (Performance Improvements (St-Charles), AJ, Lazer, and RMR)
*Edit*
As I'll probably continue to forget -
danjaman started up a 7thgen team/listing on monchar.com .. Figured what the hell and signed up. Perhaps it'll give us a larger MTL region base anyways
This is a link to the team: http://www.monchar.com/team.php?prof...hGen&x=17&y=13
To join it, once you create your own account, look in the top right corner of that team picture (I had problems finding the link so just helping you guys out
)

You had to bring the rain with you right Xenin?
As stated in the thread, unfortunately nothing really got organized for a meet today. Sucks that its looking to rain as well.
I know there are some people going to watch Driftmania in St-Eustache but yeah
I'm busy for the better portion of today so cannot really meet up or anything. Perhaps in the later evening, but cannot guarantee anything at this point.
