Damn, sorry to hear. I do find it very strange that the police "staked out" your car, perhaps there is a legality loophole here, but I don't know. In my opinion nothing you can really do about the first ticket except biting the bullet As for the exhaust, I do believe there is a law being worked on in our courts that comes out for a standardized exhaust *blah blah blah* in like June.. check the MontrealRacing.com forums as thats where I saw some stuff. That "offense" should easily be thrown out in my opinion.

205/45/17 or 215/45/17 ? 205s would be the ideal match for oem upgrade, however 215 would offer somewhat more protection .. yes there would probably be a drop to compensate and that goes to the next question..
What kind of drop? Basically are shocks + springs good enough, or (basic) coilovers are where its at? (Basic meaning the lower full coilovers (B&G/Tein Basic/.. - not like the Omni, Tein SS/Flex, Progress, ...)
Lastly, before I forget again ..
Which bodyshops have you gone to/would recommend going to? as I doubt I go back to mine - seeing how some paint flaked off today in the car-wash

Another MTLer emerges - hello. As for our taxes .. what you mean the gas is overtaxed or something?
I don't normally go downtown but I know some of the west island streets are bad enough .. only hope that some good money will go into street repairs this spring and it'll be nice for a bit
Nice ride ramboa, quick question I would have would be, did you install the fatmat by yourself or have a shop do it? Also, what area are you from?

Day old bump
How's everyone enjoying the nicer weather?
Here's a question, anyone know where to find an altezza grill for 01-03 ? Can't seem to find it on eBay anymore, and cheapest apart from that would be 52$ US

I spotted a 7thgen I hadn't seen yet the other day.. was in a parking spot for Body Fitness too.. silly me without some sort of paper to say hi..
Was a black 4dr 01/02 (<- tails).. manual with a short shifter.. and dropped hard.. rears were tucked on steelies/winters
and front was also lower, but considering its a sedan not as low. Also had an aftermarket muffler.. don't know what else but would probably look great all cleaned up with his/her summer wheels on.

Do you paint your calliper or do you stick with the rusty look?
I am thinking to paint them, but I don't know what color to use.. My car is blue, my mag are like hyper-silver...
Red? - I'm afraid it will be a bit too flashy
Blue? - Will be difficult to match the blue of the car, so it can be weird.
Gloss black? - can be nice...
Silver? - will look stock, but clean
yellow/green/purple/orange - Not for me!
any idea?

FaZe: After some thought on your wheels, I myself would eliminate those Konig's.. They look too busy Too many spokes for such a wheel
Now as for the other two.. if you can get the Sinkos as they are with a polished lip I think it would look better. Otherwise it looks just a little too dark/dirty. The C8s are a fine wheel, starting to get a little played out but at least they are popular for a reason - I'd again go with a polished lip though (ie Royal Gunmetal variant).
As BeLowMe posted, there are probably other wheels that might look nice but remember these are going on your car and you have final say. Heck, you could get pink wheels if you so chose to
BeLowMe: Mind if I ask how much you paid for your B&Gs and where you picked them up ? you can reply in pm if you so what as well

After spending the entire day shopping:
New in the frame:
TenzoR Passion5 (Gloss black with mirror lip) 17"
I got quoted 1000$ for the rims alone... (Platinum Accessories)
Sounds good?
