But, at my gym there is more old ladies that want to loose weight than cardio freak chiks Of course there is some exeptions!

I need your advise...

I am thinking to sell my CAI AEM, since I often have to pass throught big puddle of water... and I am sweating each time!

But I will miss the beautiful sound it was producing... so I am thinking to install a new exhaust instead... (a axle-back maybe, installation is easier) with a nice deep tone.

Which one do you have (for those who have one)?
Do you like the sound of it?
Are the cops anoying you? (There is no law for intake, but exhaust there is one...).

Then why not go for a SRI instead of the CAI - like the AEM V2 - billed as a CAI but really a SRI. Should get relatively the same sound out of your engine ..

I wouldn't be worried about hydrolocking your engine. Your filter must be fully submerged for it to happen. The AEM filter already sits higher than the Injen and I doubt water will ever reach that level. I have a water bypass valve from AEM for sale if you're interested.
As for axle-back, you can't go wrong with an HKS Hiper.
I have a full 5zigen catback/hi-flow cat with kamikaze header and aem cai
Surprisingly, its not loud at all (no problems with cops even with a 4" tip)

Maybe you right... it's just that last year by 2 times I ran over water puddle (lake!) which the water level was almost at the middle of my wheels : One time on Decarie after a strong rain under a bridge, it was crazy! And the other time while going out of the grocery store, there was a problem with the "égouts" (sewer ???). It took me 5 minute to find a "safe" way to exit the parking lot! I did not have any engine problem... but I did not like that!

So, I transformed my CAI to a SRI after that (I removed the second half of it), but the sound is not the same! So why a real SRI should have a different sound? Maybe the design can affect...

For fun, how much are you asking for the bypass valve? If I can feel more safe with it and keep my CAI... why not? CAI are too expensive to only use the half of it!

eBay? though you are more prone to find oem "style" than oem .. course best possible route would probably be to buy the oem "style" ones, ship them to ImPulse so he can retrofit them, and then receive them from him - be a lot less prone to chips (as they apparent are horrendous for that), and yellowied would probably bright up better..

Course there was discussion in the Canada For Sale about getting a GB for fogs .. it hasn't gone anywhere really as there is a lack of organization in that aspect.

FaZe's for sale thread .. he was asking 60$ OBO at first - then 60$ shipped to Canadian residents.. I'm sure you can sweet talk him and drop it down a little.. perhaps meeting up to take it off his hands too

ImPulse, an American 7th user/personal vendor - basically the HID guy, but also does this too - *** Retrofit: Custom 100% Yellow Fogs ***

Seeing how he breakst he lenses to change the bulb, I would assume he'd use better lense to seal it up. Though perhaps you could ask him yourself - if you wanted to go that route.

My friend tells me its real nice, a lot of machines, he told me more stuff than monster. He said its much cleaner than monster, buts its also a bit more expensive.
