Do you have an idea of the cost (part+installation)?

You can install lowering springs on OEM shocks however the eibach and neuspeed lowering springs are stiffer than your stock springs causing your shocks to work harder (rebound). So even if you don't blow your OEM struts you definately will waer them out a lot quicker. If you want better handling the best investment for suspension is Koni shocks. They are the best best. However if your like me and don't need the best Tokico HPs are much better than stock.
In terms of cost I've seen tokico for around 300-350 USD dollars
and eibachs for 200-260USD dollars
and Neuspeeds for 160-200 USD dollars.
You will also need a rear camber kit if you drop 1.5 inches
+ customs if your buying stuff from the states.
In terms of Installation RMR said 3 hour job 65$ and hour plus tax.
I know RMR had some neuspeed sports forsale for the sedan. The springs were less than 200 Canadian. They weren't good for the coupe though. Thats a really good price.
If your going to lower your car and don't want headaches its best to do it right the first time to save yourself money and trouble.

It might be far for you guys, but I heard good things from them.
My car is currently there (for one day) for parts installation.
It will take him overnight for the car to cool down for him to install my header, cold air intake and readjust my catback exhaust to stop the vibrations.
His $/hr rate beats RMR by a long shot, and he knows what he's doing.
I saw some cars that were there, widebody Miatas, engine swaps, good stuff!

Hey guys I had a few questions
Hey guys in terms of lifting the car and doing oil changes. Do you guys use jack stands or ramps? which do you reccomend? I was thinking of getting a jack and two 3 ton jack stands.
Is it best o buy oil directly from honda as well as the oil filter or there is penzol and some aftermarket oil filter just as good?
Anybody here upgrade there front brakes with brembo blanks and hawk brake pads?

I'm a lazy/inept **** so I just go mainly to the same garage I've been going to forever now (lifetime of owning a car => summer 98 till present) .. I don't use Honda oil - nor filters .. so I couldn't tell you yes or no on that part - I'd say use what majority of 7thgen techies use.
I've changed my front brakes... but mainly from oem pads to aftermarket ceramics pads.. but still not as expensive as mentioned above, but mainly because they *should* last me longer .. then again, my driving style usually made me go through pads like butter
I suggest to use a Honda oil filter, keeps the oil pressure stable and where it should be, especially good for VTEC engines. I love working on my car and don't even do my own oil changes, they are so cheap at the dealer why bother?
I'll run KVR cross-drilled rotors with HP+ hawks this summer, KVR's pads suck big time, I had them last summer. Read this...

NOICE!!!!!!!!!! Did you modify the sensor in the exhaust that monitors emmisions? Well I'm not sure you have have the same cat as the SI. The SI has a three way cat which can make the engine light come.
What is the exhaust made of. Maybe your new exhaust and headers are lighter than the stock parts also another plus.

your cold air intake where is the filter location? is it at the bottom?
Where is the Veloz kit?

I got my OEM/Veloz Front/Side at the same place I got my rear bumper/lip
(A junkyard in Chambly, South Shore again... =P)
My CEL came on after my drive from Varenne to Downtown
MIL Eliminator should fix that...
My 5Zigen Exhaust is not made of SS... just the main can/tip is SS
The Cold Air Intake Filter is located in the bottom, behind the battery like all AEM CAI.... I prefer the Injen setup though =/

Please explain exactly what it is and where you got it, is it like a dummy O2 sensor? Do you need 1 or 2? I'll need to do the same on my car for the high-flow cat. Thanx.
