Of course I heard often that it had no reason of beeing there, but I was the first to say that when we pulled into the big O.

Besides, being in a show is an experience that isn't to be missed - or so I'm told.

Otherwise it would all look like this, this is last summer before I removed the stickers, original paint, driven in the winter.

Start car to warm up (~10 mins).. stop car. Plastic bag over battery .. plastic/aluminium over alternator, air intake .. Rinse down (never with high pressure) .. spray liberally with "Orange Blast" (Citrus cleaner/degreaser).. Let sit for 5 minutes or so .. rinse off .. Depending on cleaniness repeat spray + rinse ... afterwards its getting into the nooks and crannies with a brush/rag .. re-rinse.. apply plastic dress-up for extra looks..
) At least I know its a lot cleaner looking afterwards
I have a Makita variable speed polisher, I use mostly 3M products, especially for paint cleaners, scratch remover and glaze, final wax is also 3M, but I like the Color Magic Turtle Wax on dark cars it removes the polishing marks (white cloudy haze reflection left by polishing seen under direct light). The process does remove up to medium scratches and all oxydation and dirty old wax. Very safe for clearcoats, not as severe as a compound but more than 80% close. Remember that you can easily damage paint with a polisher if not use correctly no matter what you do. For the engine bay I use only Simple Green Automotive and some detailing. Depending on condition and color, I'd charge you between 100-120$, special 7th gen. price folks, same as CCQ members.

Three days without a response..
you all are gheyOkay so I've been a little busy in life passing the time - playing Halo2 with 8 other people at once (good times, but had better times with 15 others in Ottawa
), shooting some pool, drinking some drinks .. what about everyone else? And now for something completely different

Superfly, I'll think more about your car-polish option more when the time comes to do it.. seems like a fair price.. though I'll probably go and use the 100+ dollars I have on my Canadian Tire card and get a polisher+other stuff.. I like keeping the car clean and I know I'll put the tools to use.. and if I damage the paint, oh well - not like the car is in pristine condition anyways

I'm trying to find a thread I read a while back about how you don't need to have a high end alarm just one with a good setup. The thread mentioned having two sirens so that when the one siren was cut the second one would sound.
Here's a wiring chart
