Well changing it sooner doesn't hurt. But it says in the service manual that our engines are to be serviced at 8k or (some number of months) which ever comes first.

Sooner is better, I wanted to modify my suspension, to make a good first impression.

how much does your flywheel weigh. Is it chromoly?
It's the oem one we're machining, should reduce the weight by about 50%, I'll let you guys know when we take it out and weigh it before and after, I'll take some pics also this weekend. Once lightened it will be balanced resurfaced and reinstalled. Rpm's will climb quick as a ****.

Who here drives a manual?
I seen many modded 7th gen coupes this summer.
There was one silver coupe with dohc vtec stickers, aluminum wing, aftermarket rims, blue neon underbody and lowered suspension. The car had aftermarket shocks. it stayed very stable on the road it stayed stable even with irregularities in the road. Is that anyone you know?
I've seen 2 7th gens modded at the royal bank on boulvard st-charles at brunswick. They were in the parking lot every day in the summer parked with some modded integras. There was a nice black 7th gen coupe.

Lightened oem flywheels are very safe if properly balanced, actually, many aftermarket flywheels are oem's to begin with and substain much more weight reduction than what I'm aiming for. Alex at NoRedline who is working on my car has built killer n.a. setups with lightened oem flywheels, like his 230 whp B20 vtec race car.

Did u get ur car there btw?
