Can't help you there for the alarm though
.. but maybe if FaZe ever reads this thread again he can help as was going that route - don't believe he continued it himself, but well I'm not 100% sure though

Always worry about Mounting Dept, need of spacers ... etc.
I had to make MDF boards to install the front components. I just gave up on the rear speakers for now...

I might be able get them installed for you. I have a mechanic friend and we have replaced shocks on a car together(he's fairly competent in my opinion) so installing coilvers shouldn't be too difficult
If your friend is buying suspension parts I could ask around and see if could get some reasonably priced parts here in Canada. It just takes time to get them here, 3-4 weeks.
What kind of coilovers does he have or wants to get? How much drop does he want?

2 way alarm with remote starter (for manual car)
Cheaper than Viper/Directed Products
Incredible range for starter and remote
STARTER WORKS WITH MANUAL unlike Viper
Spark Motoring would do it for like 450 Installed.
The installation cost are abit hefty due to our transponder chip key.

As for the installation, doubt it'd be hard altogether - unless you didn't have the proper tools. I know the Ottawa peeps have installed/deinstalled their coilovers but have the right equipment to do so..

Its winter anyways, so he has time to think of what setup he wants. Does he abosolutely want coilovers. What about 1.75 inch drop with Tokicos HPs and he buy rear camber kits as well. Its not like 1.75 inches is gonna cause anny trouble. His car will handle a lot better and it will reduce wheel gap.
I'll be doing a suspension upgrade this summer also.
My choices are either
TEIN full coilovers (around 1000$)
Neuspeed Sport Springs/Tokico shocks (around 650$)
Which would you guys pick?

or are u talking to faze?
but i buy my stuff at high performance
its on st-laurent corner beaubien
i dont know the address
usually they give me good price
i dont go from store to store to look for an amazing deal
i just stick to one shop
sometime i might pay a little more but they can get most of the stuff right away or in the next 2 days.
and if there's any problem its easier since u deal only with them and they get to know u

I will post one soon. My car is stock
and infested by salt and dirt.
I'm looking into Tokico Hps and neuspeed sports or eibach sporlines.

I also get great deals on any parts from a Club Civic Québec partner, suspension, wheels, seats, name it. Also right on the south shore is a shop for any performance modifications such as custom exhausts, cams, flywheels, big brake conversions, port & polish and more. He is actually working on what should be the quickest n.a D17, we'll find out just how quick this spring but high 14's are probable.

Lightened flywheel is good, it helps with accelerarion a lot I heard.
What is port and polish. Do they polish your block with a special metal to seal cracks?
14s
Forget about RSX Type S I'd rather keep my baby.

Port & polish is basically enlarging the intake / exhaust ports in the head and polishing them smooth for more and better flow. A lot of performance to gain there with bigger intake and more exhaust. Air flow = hp's

Yeah I didn't explain myself too well on that one. I have been fantasizing on the Type S for a while. But if out cars can do 14s I wont go for the Type S. I was actually thinking of selling my car in the summer and buying a Type S.

Yeah with more air we can even gain some more HP with cold air intakes.
Do you know the diff between headers and a manifold?
