Upgraded to a new 04-05 rear bumper from ebay.
Washed and waxed her
Attempted to restore headlights with turtle wax headilght restorer with the help of some lower grit sandpaper.
And cleaned the interior with Meguiar's quick interior delailer. Doesn't give off that greasy glarey look on the dash.

That bumper is going to confuse so many EM2 owners, haha.
I live in the U.S., can you imagine how I felt when I first saw a Canadian Si driving around?

Thanks guys
I've actually seen a few 01-03 EM2's around with the newer rear bumpers. And I needed a new rear bumper so I said why not and just went for it haha

Re: What did you do to your civic today?
Didn't do anything to my Civic but I was pulled over for following a big rig a bit too close which I agree I was.
I remember reading somewhere on this forum about not all cops being dicks and that just really cooperating with them can save you from a ticket.
Well I saw the flashing lights, I exited the freeway, and parked in an empty parking lot nearby. I immediately reached for my license and registration and had it ready. There were two officers. Officer 1 knocked on my window asked me a few questions (where I'm going, where I'm coming from, my age) checked my eyes to see if I drank. Then he just gave me my stuff and let me go with a smile. Officer 2 was just looking around my car.
A little cooperation and a good attitude can go a long way.

Gotten out of two tickets that way, also keep a monopoly "get out of jail free" card in your wallet as a last resort.
Havent had much time to do anything to the civic lately, my a-pillars been falling down for a week, need to go to Honda and get some new clips.

Today, I finally replaced my driver's side door lock actuator that went bad about 10 months ago.
Worth it, but it was such a pain in the *** because I couldn't get the locking assembly out because one stupid rod didn't want to come out. I might just pay a shop to do the work next time it goes bad.
I was thinking of making a DIY on it but it didn't happen.
At least I get to relax now

finished putting my f1 stage 2 carbon kevlar clutch in my hatch yesterday. with 8.4 lb flywheel and i LOVE it. the pedal is so soft compared to the clutch masters fx300 and oem flywheel i pulled out of it. i dont see why people dont like light flywheels. it kinda woke the car up a bit and big hills are no longer a problem with me. dont even have to downshift to get up it. lol
for $250 and a few good days work i recommend it to anyone.

Re: What did you do to your civic today?
hard wired a battery tender connection in the glove box and tapped it to the radio constant power wire. now i can just plug in the charger without alligator clamps or socket plug (key required). i also plan to use it with the new 5w solar battery tender i got. fits nicely on the front seat cushion. now if anyone else gets this idea, be aware that the battery tender cable is color coded wrong. the red is ground and black is power, at least on their extension cable i got. and on the radio, the black is ground and wht/red is constant power. now i can leave it plugged in all day at work and have a topped up battery for the drive home. i have 15 lb agm motorcycle battery without much reserve so it tends to drain faster than a regular size. not enough to be a problem yet, but i always see it at 12.2-12.4v in the summer which is slowly killing it. next one i get i think will last longer with the solar charger on there. i only wall charged this current battery once every couple weeks.

Did some planning today. That's about all...
Was going to try a 2007 Honda Fit lip a friend offered for free, but my friend broke it on his EM1 so I would've had to buy another one. For now, I like the 99-00 Type-R lip.
Any added suggestions before I get them painted? Should I opt for a sedan grill, or stay with the honeycomb?

I love it ^^ the way it is now.
Crossed 240,000 miles today. Changed plugs. Threw in some NGK Iridiums. Ordered a new fuel filter and strainer sock today too, having the same hesitation problems as the guy who did the DIY thread.

Was working on resealing a pair of aftermarket headlights today when I decided to use goo off to get some butyl residue off the front lense.... Should have stuck with the goo gone! I had a can of goo off and figured there was no difference. The lower portion of the headlight hazed up FML!!!

Re: What did you do to your civic today?
finished repining my cluster and completed my Integra to Civic cluster conversion. I was looking for an EM2 cluster that was 5 speed and had the speedo in KMH but I came across my buddy who had a DC2 cluster for $25. have to take it to the dealer to have the odometer corrected.

Re: What did you do to your civic today?
I went on a two day trip to Joshua Tree National Park to go star gazing because it's an annual trip my friends and I like to do.
While we were there, we decided to go boulder climbing and it requires some off-road driving to get to the boulders. My buddies had to push me out of the sand twice
but it was still really fun especially because it's a manual haha
The second picture was yesterday's sunset on top a mountain sized pile of boulders and the third is just to show how high I climbed up. This place was in the middle of nowhere.
But other than that, I gave her an oil change and vacuumed the interior.
