Re: What did you do to your civic today?

blah went for a drive tonight and while the visibility is vastly better, i am now noticing the washer nozzles sticking up that i couldnt see before and its really annoying lol. next up figuring out how to take those out. theyre not even connected to anything, just sitting in there to cover the holes up. i dont feel like wasting money at a body shop to have them patch and repaint the whole hood, esp one with all sorts of hail damage. maybe a diy is in order? like carefully cut some metal pieces and jb weld from the bottom? and touchup paint on top? i have a feeling it would look bad...

lol, being a little too picky don't you think? :P What about colour matching them? Or would that still not look good enough? OR you could take them out and carbon wrap your hood, right over them lol.

i used the rain-X bow style wipers in the past and i was very unsatisfied they only lasted a month then started leaving streaks on the glass.

Re: What did you do to your civic today?

i already have the accord silver nozzles, its just that they stick out of the smooth hood and really stand out at night lol. maybe fill them and put a nice decal over the hood? altho that would be distracting too unless its a solid color. im not too big of CF to be honest, or stickers. this is prolly something i will never spend money on. guess i could stop by a shop to get estimates.

im so mad the bomex mirrors didnt work out either. they stopped making em!

yea, I'm not a big fan of CF either. However, I have entertained the idea of white carbon fiber. However, I've never seen it so I have no idea what it would look like on our civic lol On a fiji blue civic is what I would like to see it on.

Re: What did you do to your civic today?

are the wipers on our cars a pain in the butt to change? never changed mine before.. last time they were done, like a year ago, the dude at the oil place did em. i know it's easy as cake on an eclipse, just push through and slide off. is it the same for civics?

Re: What did you do to your civic today?

on my 05 sedan it's the j-hooks that just push and slide off. I changed to rain x wipers in about 45 seconds... and I love those wipers. lowlife9 I don't know if I have the "bow style" but I've had mine for about 10 months now and they still work like new. We'll see how they hold up during this winter though

Yea, its push and slide off, but some might have a clip, easier than changing a wheel out

Need Help 02 civic LX with a 190000 miles, its turns over, wont idle, even if i give it gas gas it still shuts down. No check engine light, scanned it with OBD scanner, no codes came up, changed fuel pump, cats not clogged, checked for spark all coils good, cleaned out throttle body, and cleaned out idle air control sensor and cam position sensor...

the bite is actually pretty hard. harder bite than the HPS i dare say...but there are too many factors involved (like resurfaced rotors, etc)

ive only just finished bedding in the pads. they are smoking right now. i will give a full review of these once i get a few hundred miles in them.
