What did you do to your civic today?

^ What he said ^
Is it an NGK?
Regular NGKs DO have a V shaped notch cut into the center electrode, hence the "V POWER" name.

An 02 was supposed to get Platinum plugs, but they are way expensive LOL

ROAD TRIP!!! Leaving Washington forever and moving to Tennessee. It's been a good run and I'll miss the Northwest.

Went on a little road trip over the weekend, 383 miles each way, got 38.6 on the way out and 40.1 on the way back. Not bad for an EX with all the heavy stuff that kills fuel economy...
Re: What did you do to your civic today?
That's a change! Have you ever been on this side of the country?
Looks good

Re: What did you do to your civic today?
I did the 3 month wax and detail. The exhaust heatshield under the stickshift started to rattle today. I'm really OCD about rattles and creaks so I ended up wrapping a piece of wire around the back of it.....the front is already being held on with a ring clamp.
Re: What did you do to your civic today?
Pulled the drivers seat out to see what was loose causing the rattling (the seat physically shifts around a bit) and discovered this:

All the bushings in the height adjustment mechanism were shot
And I bet they're a dealer only item...
Also, I discovered bits of glass from (presumably) the drivers window, which indicates it was either broken into or in an accident in its past life. I'm thinking broken into because the paint matches and all the factory stickers are still there, and the carfax is clean.
The things you learn...

The seats shifting is a problem often complained about and no matter what you do it will probably happen again. I just left the **** adjuster all the way to one position and never touched it and it doesn't move really.

I'm not sure if this is your issue but there are some fixes for the 'rocking chair' effect on 7th gen Civics.....

Yes, they are ultra dirty - with finals and projects wrapping up the car hasn't been washed in 3 weeks or so and they're full of dirt and brake dust. They look really good and pop more when they're clean.
Re: What did you do to your civic today?
You will have to get a better pic when they are clean.
Removed my rear end links as one of them broke. After looking at it I am not surprised. Going to look into other end link options.

Washed and waxed last weekend. Have parts to instal but need to get AC working first.
