Got it back.
Cliffs notes, don't ever trust a dealer. I got hosed but raised some stink and got out of the deal and got my Honda back. With a readjusted clutch and new head gasket and water pump and timing belt, free of charge because the dealer that hosed me is under investigation...

Always thought backup cams were silly, until I got used to the one in my wife's TL. I like being able to get close to the parking barrier when backing into a spot and not worry about hitting the bumper.
Rotated tires yesterday and installed Neuspeed tower bar. Nice addition to the suspension!

I still have to make a few tweaks but so far it works great, and the camera was only $16.

Um, I opened up the covers for the blue ambient lighting today, drilled holes to let the light out.

I feel rear windows are getting smaller and smaller on newer cars.
Pretty soon you won't have a rear window to look back as you'll just have just a LCD on your dash.

I have seen those before and wondered how well they worked. I thought it would be nice to know the info they can provide.
Picked up my winter wheels and tires. $350 from craigslist.

Got my hoses today
lol
put them on and they look way better than the old ones and
i wont have to replace them ever hopefully
had to trim the top one down a few inches for a perfect
fit but all in all they were easy to swap out and get on there
and im happy with them so far
also put in a new head unit the one on there was kinda old
and made the speakers sound like dookie
new head unit is a pioneer with bluetooth and mixtrax and a few other
things its pretty sweet
new speakers for the back deck coming soon
gonna be pioneer pro audio full range drivers (aka... one of if not the nicest speakers pioneer makes highs wise )

Finally attempted to change my driver's side lock actuator. Everything was going fine until I tried to remove the lock assembly screws... I don't have the impact driver required for the job. :-( I had to go against my instincts and make an appointment for an auto shop. I am BEYOND furious right now.
I'm gonna leave the door like this until it's fixed. That'll show me.

On the plus side, I found some long-lost change hiding within the door panel. At least I got some money out of this fiasco.

Re: What did you do to your civic today?
ezone, thank you very much for the link! I picked one up last night and it worked like a charm this morning! I can't say that the rest of the job was that easy; the handle connecting rod would not come out so I had to work on everything through the access hole. Now I know how a gynecologist feels! :-/
After nearly 4 hours of constant effort, I am the proud owner of a Civic with fully functional power door locks! Thanks again for the tip ezone, it was a hell of a lot cheaper than going to the mechanic!

I get accused of being like a doctor, extracting and rebuilding whatever all through the tailpipe of a running engine....followed by a sarcastic "Oh, I got a fingernail dirty!"

Now I use

plus

Amazingly quick to break them dang rusted rotor screws loose, and no strenuous hammer swinging or finger mashing!
I still use the hand held driver to reinstall the screws though.
