I was explaining what was going through my head initially and the reason why I installed it that way in my previous post. There was an INITIAL REASON for why I did that and that is what I posted. Osoboosted posted that after my install and after I had already thought about the best way to install it. Notice I said "supposed to fit". I had no reference to install it with so I used my head and came up with a leak-proof way to install it. You can find things to use at a local hardware store for oil fittings it's really not that big of a deal. But if it's all you have on me I guess you have to use it right?

I never said I didn't have any problems I said I installed it myself. My surging idle was quickly fixed by an adjustment of the throttle cable.

Where are you getting this turbo god ****? I never claimed to a turbo god? Frankly I'm flattered you would even think so! Thanks Guns.

Why are you so bitter? Could it be the public humiliation I've throw your way? Do a search on how I was the first to call out DH and then do a search on how Guns blindly followed the bandwagon pack. How's that magic intake manifold treating you?

BTW things were peaceful Guns but you brought this back, remember that. Your choice to come back and start this up shows that you truly are what I called you before.
So you publicaly humiliated me for making mistakes.

You are a coward and an idiot who did the same excact mistakes that I did.

Of course, it's the stupid IAT sensor code because SF doesn't provide a way to connect the IAT sensor to the charge pipe.

You are missing the point junior. You retreated to your local speed shop to fix your problems. I researched and fixed mine on MY OWN.

Guns, my car ran and boosted fine after I fixed my surging idle. Hell it boosted fine even with the surging idle. My mistakes were not fixed by someone else.

besides the fact you all went way off topic. Don't tell me I haven't read the posts. I've read every last one of them.

I know that Prod got a dirty block and a messed up head. I know that one other person complained about their head being all messed up with metal chips inside of it and such.

What I don't see is the other 100 customers who ordered something from them on this site complaining about their product.

One of DH's biggest supporters, Gearbox, admitted he uses the pulley as a paperweight. How many people don't have their spacers?

Any topic with DH has turned into a flame war and I'm done with it. I've more than said what I needed to say about them and whoever listened ended up saving money. That's it I'm done talking about or replying about DH.

^^ Good, then it's my turn to get my point across without someone trying to bash DH.

DH racing sent out the pulleys with no problems. Later on he discovered there MIGHT be a problem with the belts rubbing against a sensor. (kind of one of those necessary percautions....just incase) My pulley is just sitting on my work bench waiting for the spacer to come in. No doubt it's been a while....but what's the hurry....do you need to put it on NOW? How much would it kill you to take another step of safety.

Why don't you keep your stock pulley and get a lightened flywheel? If you are staying n/a get the ACT Prolite you notice a big difference. Honestly it is the same principle, you are decreasing rotational mass and decreasing the amount of work the engine needs to do.

EDIT: this is not about DH it's about Project2k2's setup

You started in the same place as me with problems. I dont knwo everything and you didnt either when you started. Just like you I will one day be at 1 bar.

Does that make you a turbo god?

Can you post of a picture of your pulley installed.

Maybe then all the haters on here will believe that it works and DH-racing did fabricate a good part.

Hey, don't let me stop you....Just trying to make sure that you were worned if you weren't allready aware. When DH bends you over, you can't say you didn't know it would happen to you as well.

What matters is the fact that DH f*cked up and is unwilling to fix their mistake.

Good luck with that one Project2k2

A friend and I couldn't get the pulley to come off. There is a special tool to keep the pulley from giving and we couldn't find it anywhere so I took it to a friend of mine's shop and he put it on for $20. I'll take a picture when it clears up, it's kinda dark now and it's been cloudy all day.

On your setup the oil line connects directly to the fitting but has a chance to leak where the fitting meets the pan. Mine has no chance of leaking because the fitting isnt pushed up against the side of the pan in goes through the pan. Sorry man I don't call that a mistake I call it working with what you are given and making the best of it. During installation I thought about what COULD happen and decided against conventional usage.

Ya I remember that problem you had that you couldnt rev past 5k rpm. I also remember that I was the one that told you how to fix it. I can find the post if you like?
I did not get a fitting at all from SF I had to make do without. I made my own weldless fitting. All parts from autozone and no leaks. Here is a picture of the parts.

a keyway is a slot for a key- which is a little chunk of metal.

The stock pulley has a keyway to hold it in place. I guess the DH pulley is No keyway, so it just presses on flush against the crank. Josh said it was designed like that to be balanced.

Who cares both of our ways work flawlessly proving my point that there is not a CORRECT way as long as it works.

Ok here is sarcastic tone. Hmm the oem part and every other aftermarket pulley I have seen or used had a key what makes this one so special. Hmmm and the no key way is the first thing places around here look at before telling me they wont install it.

Someone got the spacer already. YS, I thought it was you? Josh says the pulley will go on fine, and the spacer doesn't make it fit any better. Just keeps the sensor from damage.
