I want to apoligize to every one who read my flame posts.

Sorry to all members for hijacking this thread with a personal flame war with Dober. I sent him a PM and we agreed to disagree. He makes some good points and it is good to hear both sides (pros and cons). We all are all in the same boat and why rock it. I just wanted to apoligize to the mods also and thanks for not locking this thread. it is good to be able to express your views unedited. People can take what they want and make their own choices.

Back to the thread.:

There are members who have installed the pulley w/ no problems. It should work fine dont worry so much about it. I have the RVM underdrive pulley. It made some improvements I could feel. I have had it for almost a year now and no problems. Dh single pulley should make more power do to the fact that you are loosing a couple of accesories that rob poower. there is also less rotational weight. This should go great with a lightened fly wheel.

Peace

I don't think they're shipped yet. Just give it a few more weeks and everyone should have it. So who's gonna dyno it first?

It sucks for me having to work every day til after 5pm, so I can never get anything installed or done to my car.

^^ I'll be trying once again to install it on my car. This time I think I know how to stick a screwdriver in the tranny case....although I'm not sure where the hole is?????

Wish me luck.

You mean timing cover? Just go to a mechanic and see if you can borrow their pulley removal tool. It will make it 10x easier.

Ok guys, well I went and bought the tool. It should be here early next week. Anyways, I want to help you guys out so here it goes.

When I am done using the tool (if it works) if you give me your address and you pay for shipping I will gladly ship it out to you to use and then you ship it back. Or of course when I am done using it I wont need it so someone else can buy it from me if they would like.

There is a dust cover in between the oil pan and the tranny that you will need to remove. It is black and is secured by two 10mm bolts. Once you remove it you will see the bottom of the flywheel.

Ran 10psi.

I did the tuning myself with VAFC-2 at a Mustang shop. Cost me $50.

I really dont know exactly what I am doing. Still very rich. Had an odd lean spike on the second run. I just wanted a new baseline before my DH-racing parts.

Tuning made a big difference. Last month made 184hp. Today pulled 220. Not bad for a newbe.

I also found out that my car was not happy with changing the VTEC engagement point. I lost 20hp when I changed it to 4,000 rpm. I set it to stock and just played with the fuel.

My car is happy with 100% Methanol. I would say that 20hp from the methanol and another 20hp for the tunning. More tunning would squeeze out another estimated 15hp.

We will see how I run with my Dh parts (when they get here).
