Does anybody know someone who has put on the dual groove and didn't put the power steering belt on and just put the ac belt. Would it help out a little or throw a CEL or something?

nice I just got quoted 50 - 60 bux for an install, all depending on the amount of work when trimming the cover

If I get my spacer by tomorrow, I'm taking it in Saturday to get it installed, if not, then I'll get it installed next weekend.

Spacers have not been sent. I am trying to do everything for you guys at once, ported heads, manifold combos, pulleys, it's hard to keep up but we are on top of it. Spacers should DEFINATELY be out tomorrow.

Gee, I hope that when I grow to be an old man and reflect back on my full life's experiences, I will have seen all that you have seen, and then maybe, just maybe, I will be as wise as you.

WAIT A SECOND!

According to your profile you were born on March 30, 1983. That means you are 20 years old. Unless you're a dog in which you would be 140 which would make what you said slightly more plausable, even though you would not have thumbs.

YOU ARE 20 YEARS OLD, Please stop with the "I have been in this game for quite some time now" B.S. You're killing me......

Okay, you need to stop with this because you don't know what's going on. We'll wait for the dyno someone is doing, and hopefully then you'll change your tune. So what if he's 20? What does that have to do with performance parts? If you're not gonna buy the pulley, don't even post stupid stuff like that in here.

I dont know whats going on? PLEASE enlighten me!

We have been waiting for the dyno for quite a long time now havent we???

The reason I pointed out that he is 20 is because of his BS statement about being around in motorsports since before AEM, JG etc. Which is just pure BS. Unless you could skateboards or bicycles as motorsports. But, I do agree that your age has nothing to do with horsepower. So the next time someone defends his products with an "I've been doing this since before blah bah blah..." speech rather than a simple dyno sheet you should be very worried.

AEM started in 1987 (thats 17 years ago for the math challenged) ==> http://aempower.com/about_aem.asp see the problem with his statement yet? well let me spell it out for you.

DHRacingJosh was 4 YEARS OLD when AEM started. What exactly about his statement was not bullshit?

Or do you believe his statement that he has been doing this since before AEM came around?

do you?

I don't (of course). I recognize that he was not telling the truth. Some would even dare to call it bullshitting. Others would race to his defence. Why? god only knows.

Hahaha. And I guess AEM is so good that they make an intake that gives 1-2hp! Well, it's been fun, but I have more important things to do than argue on the web.

So the spacers are shipping tomorrow? That's good news. How are the pnp's coming, Josh?

I'm not supporting AEM, I just pointed out that DHRacingJosh was caught saying something that is so clearly false and provided the link to back it up. Read this statement by DHRacingJosh again:

Why is everyone so afraid of a simple truth?
Therefore ==> DHRacingJosh was not telling the truth.

Simple, if you have at least 2 brain cells to rub together. But something tells me that the replies to this will have NOTHING to do with the above facts. Hmmm, I don't know why...

Hey LSRCivic, how many times are you going to edit your posts? LOL. Do you know how to spell? I think you’re losing brain cells.

Anyways, that’s good news that the spacers will be done tomorrow, hopefully, can't wait to get mine.

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic. I always have "something better" to say just after I hit submit. btw, I didn't lose my brain cells, I just misplaced them. If I could just remember where in the hell I set them down...

i have to go with LSRCivic and agree that Josh said something that defintely doesn't add up... but this doesn't mean that the pulley's don't work, in fact two members have already stated that they saw noticeable differences.

anyways i'm still waiting for my spacer like everyone here, can't wait to put the pulley on and see how my car runs.

btw, mootlif, how come you decided to put the pulley on w/o the spacer? did your mechanics tell you that they could do it without one? just curious...

    Thanks.

I too believe that the pulley will work. It just makes sense. But, I have been turned off by the (IMO, "over the top") claims made as to the "proven" HP. Hell, I still might even buy one! I just want to see a darn before and after dyno sheet before I do! Is that unreasonable?

Thanks. I tried really hard to resist the urge to make it better.

No more arguing a point. However, I do reserve my right to create an "I TOLD YOU SO" thread in the future.

Yeah unlike most uneducated people, those who don't do more then play video games, I was into racing when I was 7 years old. I competed in the Kart Nationals, and was undefeated in all championship tournament appearances. I had the world quickest lap time 6 years in a row, and was racing in the 21+ age class when I was 11 years old, so when I say I have been in this game a long time I surely meant it. My father had 900 HP Blown Stingrays built from his hands, so racing has been in my blood from birth. I have followed Honda performance since the mid 90's when I saw my cousin's DOHC ZC Powered 91 Civic Hatch run a 15.2 which I thought was unbelievable, and if you remember this was around the time the internet was getting known, and I was looking for anything I could on it. I was reading anything, and begging anyone I could to take me to the raceways within Distance to see the imports run. This game has followed me since I was 7, and I am still called the best Kart racer to ever hit a national track for the age group I competed in. I have not touched one for 5 years, and I still have over 35 track records, and 100+ course lap records. I don't see where you get off trying to call me out. Im not some kid on here running his mouth. We run a multi-million dollar business, and every sale goes through me, ever record is recorded by me, every single thing done besides the engine builds, port work, and custom manifolds/machining is done by none other then me. I supervise every employee, and anything in this company goes through me unless it needs Dave's attention. So for not even 21 years old, yes I am doing very well for myself. Oh and another accomplishment of mine youngest Sales associate for Consumer Electronics ever to hold a 6 figure salary, when I was lead Sales Manager for East Coast operations of Dish Network, after I took my branch from 9th on my district on to second to only the East Coast Corporate office. What did you get out of questioning me, what was the whole point of that? Do you sell on here, and think that will make your sales get better, do you have any obligation to this site to run around and attack someones word. I show that I am above my age with what I say, but I really don't know how old you are nor would I investigate into someones profile to find out something about them just to trying and make them look dishonest in the eyes of all the forum enthusiasts. I hope you enjoyed your little "Prank" or whatever you called it, but I don't have the time to put these responses out being if I went after everyone who said something about Dh-Racing I would have that much less time to make money, and think of new marketing ideas to better our business. Next time try and pick someone who doesn't mean what they say, or claims to run 12's with an AEM intake, but every word I speak on here is honest, and I strive to make everyone believe in my word. Sorry you felt the need to come at me like that, I still am mind boggled looking for your reasoning.
