Why is it so hard to believe? 10hp is very plausible, especially considering the pulley weight.
I'm sure someone will post a dyno soon enough and put an end to all the criticism.

I got mine a week ago and went to install it yester day and the guys didnt have the tool to do it. I went to a different place today and the guy got my old pulley off and tried to put the new one on and it wouldnt go on. He even took off the plastic peice around it and still nothing. He said the diameter of the pulley is too small and wont fit on the crankshaft. I even watched him try all these diff. things so i know hes not lieing. What should i do ?

this is kind of dissapointing to here that some people are having problems and others have it installed, it obviously fits because its been installed, but what could be wrong? i hope mine doesnt end up like the other peoples and not fit

I am having the same problem as unorthedox . The mechanic who tried to fit mine had the same prblem I was standing there while we went over different ways to make it fit but it would reach the crank it looked like it was too shallow to reach.

as far as I've heard, since it doesn't have a key, the pulley is suppose to be pretty snug on the crank, is that right?

It doesn't have a key cause its supposed to be perfectly balanced

Im having the same problem of it not fitting
. The mechanics told me that the pulley has no key way or groove on the inside which would just cause it to keep spinning, and there was nothing covering it from catching rocks and debree. Btw I have an 04 ex d17a2, and for those of you that are having the same problem what kinda of cars do you guys have?

So the person who has it on their car has an 02. So maybe honda changed their crank pulleys on the 03 and 04 models?

hey guys sorry for the disappearance after i told you guys i was gonna verify the belt sizes but i'm having problems witht he pulley. After i got the belt sizes right, i was tightening the crankshaft bolt and the pulley kept tightening up until it hit my crankshaft sensor causing the sensor to go bad. Now after reading that people are having fitment problems i have decided not to install the pulley. A major reason for this being that it uses no keyway find. basically what i think of this is a donut around your finger, there's nothing the grab it to make sure it keeps spinning so after time it would eventually loosen up. this is hopw it was explained to me by various mechanics. something is definetaly wrong and im not risking damage to my engine that i cant afford unless i have some kind of gurantee on fitment or reliability.
