Maybe i could? But nothing necessarily amazing about it, like "oh man this car kicks now!!" I just dont wanna claim stuff that might not be true. The dyno speaks for itself and I have beaten a lot more cars at the track, but 16hp doesn't feel like that much.
Don't bother calling him because he won't help you. I had my car torn apart trying to put the new one on, but it wouldn't fit. I tried to call Josh, but he had an attitude and blew me off. He said he couldn't help me, and to call Dave. I called Dave and got no answer. I had to put everything back together. I don't want it anymore. I will sell mine with the belts for 160.00 shipped. I personally think DH Racing sounds shady after my experience with Josh on the phone.

You get what I mean. I had my car up on a lift with my tire and plastic cover off, and my stock pulley out and both belts untightened and off. We also unbolted the PS pump to make it easier to manage. So after I got no help, I had to put it all back on. When I say it didn't fit, I mean if it was bolted on, the pulley would rub like crazy on the plastic and not be able to spin freely. I just wanted to ask Josh a simple question, and he said to call Dave, but he was rude about it.

That sucks, cause Josh always seems nice on here. I remember in the instructions it said you have to trim the cover to make it fit. Do you remember that?
Yeah, I looked at that. The tech who was helping me said that would be a very bad idea because if that cover eventually broke because of the cutting, it would tear my timing belt and blow my motor. I wanted to ask Josh about that on the phone. Like the best way to attempt that or maybe a safe way of doing it.
The tech also said its not as simple as trimming it right there. You have to remove the whole timing cover and grind on it. He suggested maybe buying a new timing cover to try it on, but I just said forget it.

SLeePeRCIVICHopeful, I'm very curious as to how you installed this without any problems. And how did you trim the timing cover? Did you even need to?

well is that one thing the spacer is supposed to is to stop it rubbing as it sits on it? but the timing cover is def. a new issue?
Ok you guys the main thing on this pulley is not HP. You are going from 7 LBS to under 1 lb on the end of your crank. You are going to DRASTICALLY improve revving which will open up serious power when combined with other additions. You will see gains on the dyno, but it is overall acceleration, ect...

I am the best customer service agent on the net. I don't ever hold back from getting woke up at 5 am from people on the east coast calling me, to spending countless hours on the net which prevents me from even having a social life. Everyone knows how good I am on keeping people on the up and up. Im not taking a beating on this, I stand strong on my work ethics.
I STATED I WAS AT THE DENTIST IN THE CHAIR, so what would you do, drop everything and walk someone through an install? Yeah call me shady because I was in a blood pool in excruciating pain. Show some deceny, plain cold hearted man
Also about your tech. It's simple man and I dont get this. He thinks the D17 is soooo different from any other Honda. Honda uses the same stuff over and over, and we have been cutting timing covers on all our motors for 15 years. I wouldn't put a product out, tell you to cut the cover and know it could break. There is still plenty of support from the other bolts on the cover. Im not going to cut my nose off to bite my face and get a sale.

Maybe within a week? But yeah, people are giving up way too easily and it seems like alot of mechanics aren't cut out for installing custom parts. It's stupid to expect something to go on perfectly without any work. Do you know how many times I've had to modify OEM parts so they would fit right?
I hope my ported head will be coming soon so I can get the pulley on at that time, dyno tune with VAFCII, and post the results for everyone to finally see what's up.

Ported head will be out soon. Spacers are supposed to be done in about 20 minutes, so I might get them out today, if not then tomorrow. I have a lot of envelopes to fill out. You should have them in a couple days being I am sending reg mail. Thanks again
