Since we were talking about clay/wax/detailing before
Thought you might be interested in how a super shiny, glossy detail looks like,
I even included a smoothness test with a penny + nickel

daayyum.. its hard to make a white car have a shiny mirror finish too! good work!! i cant wait to get the claybar and wax kit! im thinkin next week! i washed mine today too and it felt like crap even after i was done washin it.. i was dryin it off with a towel and it was just rough feelin.. so its definetly time for a wax, but im gonna do the claybar first.. and im hoping i get that mirror finish too cuz that blue pearl just POPS in the sunlight..
if u threw a penny on my hood.. it stay right where u dropped it. lol.. ima try that test when im done doin it when i get all this stuff
im so happy i got the LEDs in! they look so good too! cant wait to show ya pics

It's super sexy from about 5+ feet away...
But any closer, you'll see all my rock chips, and faint hairline scratches/swirls
I really need to buff and polish, but I dont have a rotory buffer. If I do it by hand, it'll take all day + a jello arm and not nearly as nice finish
Re: *CivicChick2001's Build/Car Thread*
i know what cha mean bout that.. im hopin that claybar will help with a few of those marks on my car. not scratches, but theres a few spots that i think it'll help. i saw some dude on youtube use a claybar to get a scuff mark completely off.. nothin that big for me, but worth a shot if im doin it anyways. still though, looks good!

Re: *CivicChick2001's Build/Car Thread*
I don't even clay bar and wax any more, the rock chips drive me crazy if I spend more than a minute looking at them. Just a quick wash for me until I learn to paint cars
Re: *CivicChick2001's Build/Car Thread*
yeah.. they drive me nuts too.. not to mention, i dont know if u could tell from those pics i had up, but my windsheild has a nice crack all the way from one side to the other.. on the bottom part. i hate it. it started off as a chip, and now. ugly. i need it replaced asap.
Re: *CivicChick2001's Build/Car Thread*

Re: *CivicChick2001's Build/Car Thread*
yeah, its like $20 from that site, thanks for lookin out for me though
do you think that would look lame? i think it'd look aight, at least til i got a real exhaust anyways..
