According to this thread:
http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-det...omparison.html
The NXT Gen seems to hold up better in regards to beading
(NXT on left, UW on right)
Then again, to each his own. I really cant tell you the difference since I've yet try the UW.
I also do not have a DA machine, so I can't get the best results =/
But you've seen my vid, I can really vouch for NXT's performance.
If you'd like to try out the UW and review it for us, it would be very nice.
If not, I'll purchase the UW whenever I run out of NXT. (That is if I ever run out of this paste :3)

ultimate is the new formulation and makes metallic flakes stand out more in the sun. just gives a better shine imo

went shoppin today
cant wait to get it all done tomorrow! and those meguiars wipe things work GREAT on your interior. i used to use armor-all, which smelled weird, left ur hands greasy, and everything else, and seemed to wear off in like a day or so. but these are awesome. not greasy, brings out a nice shine without being "too shiney" and they smell pretty good too! just thought i'd share that little tid-bit.
i got the nxt 2.0 stuff bc it was like $7 cheaper than the ultimate stuff.. and i didnt have that much $ to spend.
only problem i ran into was the buffing towels.. i usually pick up those yellow soft buffing towels (with the red stitching) and they didnt have any. went to walmart, none there either. there was microfiber stuff everywhere, but i have never used microfiber cloths for buffing wax out. does anyone else use that? post-wax?
if not, i gotta find somewhere else to go and get my yellow ones. and i gotta do it in the morning bc im doing this all day tomorrow.

i always use the walmart microfibers for everything lol (the blue and whites). they are especially good at buffing wax off due to all the grooves and fibers. the natural shine wipes are very nice, not greasy and messy.

i prefer liquids myself, but paste will last longer. spray wax is the worst, then liquid, then paste for lifetime. if you wax often (every couple weeks), a spray works fine. if you like waiting few months, go with paste.

well i gotta go back tomorrow anyways for towels, so ill bring it just in case. i dont think i remember seeing paste of either type though. nxt or ultimate. but ill see. ive never had any problems with liquid, but never thought about the longevity of that vs paste.

lol you don't need the paste the liquid stuff is completely identical to the paste as far as shine and longevity its just easier to apply there is absolutely no difference.

lol never seen someone so excited about detailing before. good luck. dont buy the walmart buffer! total junk, mine lasted maybe 4 times before it fell into pieces literally and i threw it in the garbage. ofcourse...made in china.

Lol, tbh, even though I detail every like 2 or 3 weeks, I hate it.
My arm nearly falls off every time.
And I only need the buffer maybe like once or twice, need to use Meguiars Ultimate Compound to buff out the swirls, and hairline scratches.
And once more to gloss up my CRV
I really wanna buy a DA, but a decent one is at least $100~150+

ooh so nice and shiny and now you wont have to work that hard next time since it will be smooth already. just keep it washed every week or two and waxed every few months and it will stay smooth and sexy lol
