^ Its also 4 times the price. GT-R is probably one of the least expensive super cars out there right now. Plus they didn't test the 2 properly. While the GT-R is fast, it wasn't created to go in a straight line. It was made to take the corners. Lets see them in an auto-x challenge before I make up my mind. The GT-R has surpassed a lot of other super cars that it didn't seem like it had a chance against.

The LFA is damn sexy though! But i don't agree with you guys saying the GT-R is ugly. I like it

GT-R is bad ***. hands down. and for how "much" it costs.. at the end of the day, it is a super car.. and its rollin with some pretty "high-dolla" machines.. i would totally buy a GT-R over the LFA anyday. just like this video ^ .. its all about your own style. u got one cat with a business suit gettin into a bently, thinkin he's the ****.. and another dude with an ipod and jeans chillin and hes gettin into a GT-R.. and while u might think a whoooole lotta money is gonna get u far, ur still eatin the dust of a car that's 1/5th the price.

i dunno, i love the GT-R, but i also love the skylines.. and i think a lot of people have a love/hate relationship with those too.. and since these cars are basically sisters.. that same love/hate relationship seems to carry over..

that eclipse is pure hotness. dont know how you adjusted from that to a civic lol civics are nice and all but those older eclipse had a certain style. did you have the GST (turbo) or just the RS?

thank ya sir and i agree 1000%.. she was my baby and i miss her every single day.

it's a 1997 Eclipse Spyder GST.. and she could git it too! never should have sold her.

and to me, that body style is the best one they have ever had.. even with the new ones.. while they do look good, they arn't anything like the 97-98 body styles.. 97 is a year of a lot of my favs, this one, the supra, the civics.. that was just a good year all around. but this is 100% my favorite car. and i do plan on gettin her back when i get back to GA..

Not many people would consider the GT-R a supercar, the same is true for the R8; It takes more than just being fast and having a moderately high price tag to be given that title.

The LFA has a limited production of 500 units; 150 of those units are being given to the US and 10 to Canada. Your not actually able to buy an LFA, since they're exclusively being leased, and the sticker price is around $420,000. That means its cost are on par with the 599 and carrera gt and more than the lp-670, 458, db9 or gt3.

Of the 10 LFAs in Canada, Vancouver has 7 and we'll probably have more than 10 within a year. There are easily over 200 GT-Rs here, dealers actually stock them. That's why it will never be a supercar, even if it's quick.

Listen to the drivers comparisons of the two cars, I would much rather have an nsx.

well yeah.. there's a whole book of cars better than a GT-R.. not sayin its the best by any means.. its just a car that i like.. and would be somethin i'd actually buy if i had the $.. but if i had millions to blow i'd have a ferrari enzo, a viper, a lambo, and probly a few others parked in a garage as my play toys. but as far as an upgrade to a car that i love (the skyline) the GT-R is somethin i'd buy and drive all the time. and i'd smoke ur *** if u tried to roll up on me thinkin u gon beat me. lol

that's all i was really sayin.. not tryin to say which car is "the best".. its just a car i like. lol

and while there are a whole bunch of cars that are better than a GT-R, there are a hell of a lot that dont even compare to it. but i'd totally rock one

If I were going to buy a skyline it would be an R34 or built R33/32 though. There's just way to much computer control in the R35.

i would be happy with this...but the euro version is way better than what we get here. the usa spec is only 360hp and 0-60 time of 4.6 secs. euro is 2.9 secs with the auto.

yeah those overseas guys are serious about their cars. you shoud see the type-r civics and acuras they make ours look like junk. even the regular civic there came with a 2.0L version.

thats crazy.. how come their stuff is always usually better? that's just like Australia.. i lived there for 3 months and saw tons of crazy cars, but the ones we have here looked better over there. and u wouldnt believe how many old mustangs there are over there. im talkin left side drive and everything. i joked with em there sayin "ohh so this is where they all went!" lol..

they have a brand over there called Holden, which makes some pretty sweet cars.. they have some ugly lame ones too, but for the most part not too bad. and the skylines.. omg.. they are everywhere.. i wanted to just drive one while i was there, but didnt get to

i drove a bug though.. right side drive.. that was weird. lol

It's because of the strict testing and regulations in the US

It's one of the reasons why the Lamboghini Reventon wont be sold in the US
They are making only 20, and in order to sell a production vehicle in the US,
at least 1 of them has to be used for crash tests

ok - i have another question to discuss -

i have been thinking A LOT about my tint on my windows.. as u have probably seen, it's blue.. and it came with the car, so i dont know how dark it is, or who did it, or what it's made out of, BUT i was thinking....

i know the laws about the % and everything, and generally im guessing this has to do with black tint..

well if you have blue, cant u go a little darker than you could with black? meaning, wouldnt it take a darker shade of blue to get to 35% rather than less of a shade of black?

what im getting at is, while i'd honestly LOVE to get the 5% all over again, i dont think 35% all the way around is gonna be dark enough or look like how i want it to even matter.. SO i was thinkin about gettin blue (re-done where its already at) and also on the front side windows.. but would it be darker than 35% in black.. since its blue?

if u know, let me know TIA for any help..

ok, so this ^ has been buggin me since i read it for the first time (in a funny way).. ive been lookin up different codes and everything tryin to figure out what the heck this meant. (keep in mind.. first civic.. still dont know too much about em, much less codes) and FINALLY after someone askin about it somewhere else, i saw that "sdaidoji" said "look in my signature" and i clicked it and it lists the different chassis codes..

and i found this:
ES2 - USDM 01-05 Civic EX sedan D17A2
ES1 - USDM 01-05 Civic DX/LX sedan D17A1

so, being that my car is a 2001 ex sedan.. i would be an ES2 right?



not tryin to say anyone is wrong or anything of the sort, i just wanna know what code mine is for sure.. so if asked, for whatever odd reason, i'd know what to say. es1 or es2?
