I know what we were talking about...the point is: JTsutostyle copies kits and makes slight changes to them to get away with it. Its the same as soundspeed (they have the 'Type 1 - Type 3' Body kits for cavaliers, which are all knock offs of the origional Black Widow, VIS, and Bomex) Same thing as Genesis racing, they just copy the kits...there is even Octane Kits through them...all copies!

Ok... I know I'm a little late but here's my arguement about Urethane and Fibreglass.
There are positives and negatives to both.
Urethane
Positive= can withstand light/medium impacts and result in no damage to the design itself. Always keeps its shape.
Negative= I can vouch from first hand experience... once the paint is chipped off a certain area... the paint keeps on flaking and flaking and flaking and flaking. Right now my bumper looks like ****. Thanks dad!
Fibreglass
Positive= if lightly damaged, very easy to touch up and fix. Less expensive to manufacture therefor the consumer gets a good deal.
Negative= can be destroyed in a medium/hard impact. can break easily and sometimes a bitch to fit.
OK... now I know Urethane is the way to go but if you drive your car right and be very careful, fibreglass can be good too.
How many times have you bottom'd out your front end Bruno? I bet I can say you never have.
Also... look at Figgs. He scraped his front everywhere he went and it never cracked... his **** was paper thin too

hey guys, happy new year...finally got my clutch and flywheel...install later...no $$$ for now...spent too much during holidays...
guess that I have to change the plan for summer 04...i heard ppl saying that jetchip only modify the air/fuel ratio...but not according to what bolt-on you have...i.e. if you have exhuast pulley, intake...they adjust the ecu the same way as if you have stock civic...UNLESS you have some internal work done or NOS or turbo...then they adjust it differently...
as for SAFC, ppl saying that it is kind of useless if you only have bolt-on...it save you fuel if you adjust it right, and reduce backfire...but overall...if you don't have NOS or turbo...no need SAFC...
so i may get the Venom 400 instead...i like the on/off switch...
what do you guys think?

The jet chip...my understanding is that you send Jet some info on the car like model, trim bla bla bla...and you give them a list of your modifications like intake, exhaust, header, and then they adjust it slightly. Not sure if its really worth the money though since they say its only like 2-5hp and you cant change it yourself...you'd have to send it in.
You should look into the Greedy Emanage system. Its like the AEM EMS, you can change ignition timing(only one that can do that), cam timing, fuel curve, vtec, boost by rpm, and a whole **** load of other stuff. $300USD for the unit and you use a laptop to program it.
Sounds like it would really be a nice mod. and its totally changable..at anypoint you can play with the settings by just hitting a few keys.
I'll be getting it down the road when i can afford it just so i can retard my ignition timing. Till then i'll just have to run on stock timing...though it shouldnt be a problem since the 7thgen'rs here are all running stock.

Oh ya, and where are you gunna have that installed?? I'll be going to Noyz Boyz in Scarbrough in April to have mine done along with the header install and the exhaust. Maybe we could get a deal if we both go to the same place....

i got the ACT stage2 clutch & Streetlite flywheel for $550US shipped...with no tax no duty...i don't know why though...may be i hit a certain amount while acrossing boarder, so i no need to pay tax and duty...which save me a lot...
as for greddy emanage...I read some post in tech forum said that there are problems while adjusting the system...plus i have no idea to setup the system...and i will have to tune it by dyno...$300USD isn't too bad...about the same price as venom 400...i may consider when i get more details on the emanage...
I may install the clutch around the end of this month, it comes with 90days warrenty...if I wait too long...and there is a problem with it...i can't exchange for warrenty...and i will install it @ honda...

i'd think the warranty wouldnt start applying till it was installed. find it hard to believe it would be as soon as purchase, since that would mean the clock is ticking as soon as they ship it from their warehouse, which would be 2 weeks before you'd even see the thing. Mines not going in till April, and i'll keep the reciept of install. If i have a problem with it i'll just say "hey look this is when i got it installed and now its screwin up on me" i doubt it'll be a problem.
Curious..what stage 2 did you get the Heavy Duty Stage 2 or the Extreme stage 2??
Heavy duty kits - HD00 or HDSS(sport shift) 223ft.lb/50% over stock
Xtreme kits - XT00 or XTSS(sport shift) 270ft.lb/100% over stock
I got the XTSS and cost me $400 USD from another site...shippings free. but if you got the one i did PLUS a flywheel for only $150 more than thats a really good deal.

i got the heavy duty kit HDSS...and I read the warrenty card which came with the kits...stating that you have 90 days of warrenty started the day shipped to ur door...so they can track it thur Fedex with the tracking # i guess...anyway...
$400US is good too...but usually they will have addition shipping cost for Canada even though its free shipping(for US only)...well...i don't have NOS...so I just need to get HDSS...I heard that you need to drop the clutch everytime if you get the extreme...which is pretty annoying...

PM you back...actually i'm not going to get the performance camshaft...so the cam gear is kind of useless...unless you get it to dyno...but still with stock cam...it just doesn't work well with the cam gear...
i dont think the cam gears would really do much without serious tunning. and that wouldnt be really worth it unless you had an aftermarket cam. and since they're arent any available..the only choice would be a regrind.
Thinking bout more performance mods Bruno?? Got that V2 yet?

Funny you mention that Rich, Mike from UP just called me and said it will be in tommorow!! Can't wait!! I was talking to a guy here on the site with an lx with the V2, and he says that he loves it. Feels more of a difference than the AEM cold air he had before. Actually, he still has it if anyone is interested.
sweet!!! hope it works out well for you. Have you figured out what wheels you're getting, or are you sticking with the ones you have now?? How bout rota's for the track? I bet you'd lower your quarter by 2 tenths with 14" rota's. Not really alot of style points though for daily driving...though for track it would be nice.
hey hey
i'm bored so i thought a couple of things i've managed to get my hands on.
I got a momo black leather shift boot for my momo **** from Blair for christmas. (thanks girly) and a kickass honda keychain for me to play with. I really needed this boot cause my stock one kept sliding down my...err...shaft.
I'm also just about done setting up and arrangement to buy a very slightly used NX kit from a guy in Cali. He says he used only 1 bottle but now wants to go turbo. The guy has over a 1000 posts so i'm not as worried about a scam. But the price is hard to pass up. $300USD for the kit minus the bottle brackets which are like $50 tops. From what i hear the NX kit flows way more per shot than the other brands. Jeff says the NX measures HP to the wheels with there shots. So a 75 shot gives me 75 to the wheels rather than like 63 from the zex.
Hopefully it doesnt fall through....but i dont see that happening. Time will tell i guess.
Things are starting to fall into place.

if i wanted to buy any nitrous kit here i'd be looking at $800-900+tax. This one is slightly used but it'll come to $450 after shipping. I might have it shipped to a US address and then just pick it up so that i can avoid the duty...or i might not.
where else? not sure what you mean...i'm gunna install it myself if thats what you're asking. Hopefully this deal goes through.
