Well guess who got rear-ended again?!? Guess, come on only one chance...ME!!! F.UCK!!!!
I was coming south bound on Highbury waiting at a set of light, correction, I was FULLY STOPPED. I hear tires squeeling behind me, looked in my rear-view mirror, said a prayer, then got hit, then I swore in the car - "F.UCK".
She was paying more attention to the officer in the Ford Taurus pulling over a speeder than looking infront of her. He came over and started the speach about what to do. I jumped in "I know the drill sir, I got rear-ended in the summer" causing him to chuckle, me too.
Of course the lady was light of its only paint. No madam it is not. You see that 2" gash of missing bumber, paint won't cover that up. She barely even wanted to give me any information and actually started to drive away rather than pull over like the office sugguested. I physically had to run and tap on the passeneger's window as she was inching away. I walked back to my car and give a officer a look of "did she just actually try to drive way???". He pulled up and give a quick talk to her.
I think right now all I need is another new rear bumper. grrr. I'll keep you guys informed...

Yah, no kidding! I should have let her go and then tell the officer that she took off without giving me any information...hit and run! Of course I already had the licence plate number on my hand. ;-)

that sucks Christian....on the plus side....none of your rates will increase. Its just the hassle of getting the car repaired.
Try to score a cat/axle back exhaust out of it.....say it was 'bent beyond repair'

All right boys, next week we're heading down to T.dot for a field trip, my headlights, and HID kit, so figure out what day is good for everyone and we'll head down.

Rear-end update (relax guys, I'm talking about my car...lol): Insurance company told me to go to Burwell Auto Body on York to get an estimate, then to whomever I want to. They quoted me $935, new rear bumper and refinishing, PLUS, new chome muffler tip - $75!!!
I'm going to Preferred Collision tomorrow morning to get my quote and I know I'll be going with them. They did an awesome job last time, plus washed my car, plus cleaned the inside of my car too!!!
So I guess no axle-back muffler for me then...just the tip. =(

Update #2: I'm going to Preferred Collison this Tuesday!!! $835 for all fixes plus a rental. As good as this sounds, if I ever go to sell my car and someone looks it up they will see two rear-end collisons which would mean less money for me. grrrr, but I don't imagine I'll ever sell it. =)
