Yup, 18s. Lighter than my stock 15" steelies!!!! They weigh only 21.2 lbs in 18"!! Inflated with 215 35 Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tires, they weighed in at 42 lbs each. My stock 15s weigh in at 47 lbs each!! That's 5 lbs per wheel. Wheel weight is very important when it comes to acceleration. And i know you're all about that Macfay!! ha ha lol. If you're serious, we can work something out.

Hey, i'm flexible on that. I can work out a deal for you Macfay. No hurry for cash. Am thinking of different rims. I usually change every year or 2. I can take payment plans too. ha ha. Call me the the Bank of Bruno. No interest, just payments. As long as i get the full amout that we negotiate by late April, i can still order new ones.

Macfay, I talked to a service guy at Honda and he said type D includes: oil change, brakes, lubrication points (grease), rotation, and some other forms of inspection.. I wrote it all down but it's at home. If you call they'll tell you though!

My car is beyond ****ed!! The wires for my 02 sensor came in. They are only 2 feet long!! I need 10 feet!! Now they have to order 4 more wire kits at 120 each!!!!!!!! Oh man, i told them where to go and where their mom's were last night (sucking me off). I am so pissed. The Service Manager who i am supposedly friends with came on the phone and they are now giving me the wires at 95 each. So 380 plus taxes plus who know's how much on labour. And i'm lucky if the wires come in this week. God dammit. I'm gonna kill somebody. And they have no loaner for me to drive. What the hell is that all about. Ford sucks, but when i had all my problems with my Contour, they gave me a car. A Tempo, but at least i had transportation. I'm going to Westgate from now on for service.

I called the mechanic that did my header install and told him what's going on. He says he's never had a problem with anything like that before and that he doesn't think it's the wires that he extended. But it is. He basically gave me the cold shoulder and didn't say sorry or anything or offer to help. Ahole!!!!!! I'm not going to him anymore. What kind of service is that? I've gone to him for years and this is what i get. Soneone pass me a gun.!!!!!!!! I'm gonna go postal!!

So in conclusion, London Honda can kiss my ***, and RPP Motorsports can kiss my ***!!!!!!!!!! **** those *******!!!!!!!! In the *** with a big *****. I'll put it in so far, that i'll get poo nail from it!!

F**K them...holy....I don't think they are doing their work right...how can they not measure the length for the o2 sensors...you need 10 feet, and they got 2 feet for you after the weekend...that's suck...F the sucker!

if you wanna switch to Westgate, you may wanna call up Jeff Gardiner - Assistant Service Manager...I usually call him up b4 getting any aftermarket stuffs to install...he is nice and easy going...haha....may be you can mention my name next time...haha....i guess not very useful though...haha.......

London Honda is pretty funny eh? he told you to put back into stock? what a joke.......

yeah ... London Honda = I D "TEN" T

Well, Chris Butyrs has been o.k. He's tried to get these wires for me, but the Service Manager Chris Turnbull won't get me a loaner. I had all last week off with no car, and now car today, and probably not tommorow. I miss my car. But then again, Butyrs did mention putting my exhaust back to stock. Yeah, right. 17.2 sucked ***. Low 16s are much better, thank you.

Guy what the hell? Why are the wires so short? 2ft...what the fvck? Did they order you wires for an LX or Si(EX)? I think they might have ordered you the LX wires when you really need the Si wires...

Hey Macfay, did Westgate do the install for you? What wires did they use to extend the 02 sensors? What did they charge? I think i'm gonna pick up my car and tell them to go to hell and that i'll go to Westgate to see if they can do it. If they did yours, then i'm sure they can do mine.

i dont understand why its so much $$$...any mechanic can extend wires....the actual wires arent anything special i dont think...no one on 7thgen has said anything that i can see about needing to extend wires that much...or having to buy a kit. i say..**** the wires...get a 02sim....sure its not carb legal..but i dont think hp headers are anyways....

The car should be fixed for tommorow morning. These wires are protected all the way around to ensure nothing will ever happen to them. Most people are lucky when they extend 02 sensor wires. I have bad luck.

correct me if i'm wrong...but the 02sim...it does eliminate the need to use your 02sensors. or is it just the last sensor that it replaces. i have no idea....just know that when i get my header..i'll need one.
By the way...i've been doing some research on headers and it looks like i'm going for the full kamikaze header. if you dont know about it its a full header..not a shorty...it eliminates the cat all together and replaces the stock downpipe. Its got nice big tubes and excellent flanges. Supposed to be the best performance header for our cars, from what people in the know are telling me. I know its not legal with the missing cat but i'm pretty sure the penalty for getting caught with it(dont see how that would happen) is the same as getting caught with a non-emissions legal header. aka -HP racing header. So i figure if i'm gunna break the law...might as well get the most out of it. This is my latest attempt to improve my 1/4mile times for the next season. I'd like to be the fastest 7thgen on the track whenever i can...i guess we'll see if thats possible

It's not the header that makes it emissions legal, it's the cat. Headers have nothing to do with emmissions. They deal with flow. Catalitic Convertors are what you need to worry about. My buddy has a 94 Mustang GT with no cats now, and the car smells. Without the cat, you are making more pollution that is harmful for the environment. But i guess if you're going for speed, pollution control is not an issue. As for gains, the HP is supposed to be the best one, better than the Kamikaze. At least that's what REDVIC told me, and if anyone knows gains on our car, it's REDVIC!! That's why i bought it off him. I'd go with the HP Rich. It's a more well-known company that's been around. I wanna see you beat the snot out of SIRs, and especially Audis!! ha ha lol!! Euros my ***!! Either header will get you gains.

Definetely Euro's....they're going down.

I like the HP, but i'm concerned with the fit. What model vic do you have Bruno, is it the SI? I hear the stuff about needing a different sway bar for the full header to fit. Another thing is that info is scarress with the civics...not sure what HP model is right for my car(DX) really. I know bout the cat situation with emissions...i dont really want to pollute and i dont want to get cought especially.....but i want more than just the shorty header. The stock downpipe is the power killer apperently, so i want that replaced either with and HP, Kamakazi, or custom....i suppose i could put a highflow cat back into the pipe further down the exhaust so that i'm still being legal. I dunno...i've read lots of reviews and such......from what i've heard kamikazi looks like the better fit for what i need. but i'm open to suggestions...any info you guys could give me would be appreciated for sure.

My car is an lx, same engine as yours, no vtec. Some people have said that you have to shave the motor mounts. Those were the first HP models they made for the 7th gen i believe. My header required no shaving at all on my sedan, or on REDVIC's coupe. I bought the top portion of REDVIC, and had a custom downpipe made. That way there would be no concerns with clearance. I shoved my hi flo cat further down the exhaust (that's why i need such long 02 sensor wire extensions now!!).

i have many questions that hopefully you can help me with....any thing would be appreciated. how much did it cost to have the downpipe made for it? How much was the highflow cat? Am i right in thinking that the 02sim gets rid of the need for the sensors? Could do something like your setup only use a 02sim instead of the long long wires? hmmm...what else...
what model header do you have.....on the HP site theres a few different ones..with different product #'s but no pictures. There's some in each the ceremic, chrome and stainless catagories; each with different restrictions. i'm confussed as to which one is the right one for either a) a full header complete with cat replacement and downpipe or b) one thats just the header were i can do it custom.

i'd prefer the stainless but i'd go for either...any idea which one i need?

sorry for the million questions...thanks in advance

No problem. I pretty much did the entire exhaust system together so i don't really know how much the downpipe cost. I do know the hi flo cat was 200. I think you're right about the 02sim. I think it's so you won't need the sensors. My header is ceramic 4 into 1 top portion. THe downpipe is 2.5". I would go with the full header complete with cat replacement and downpipe. 2 days ago i said different but now i'd say go with the entire setup. It will pretty much bolt on after that. I'd go stainless cuz in the winter time, the chrome will fall apart and look like ****. If you want to save coin, Ractive just released one for our cars that comes with hi flo cat and everything for $500 canadian. That's a really good price. I think it comes in chrome i believe. Mike at Unauthorized told me about it.

Wow that's a steal. 500 canadian. Is the hi flow cat a resonator?

02 civic:
The kamikaze header for the lx does not replace the downpipe since our cars have the downpipe welded to the midpipe.

you only needed to shave the motor mounts with the old 1-piece 4-1 hp header (not with the shorty) because it had to be installed from underneath the car.
