Finally got my baby back. Still not fixed though. One wire is, the other hasn't come in yet. It's driveable, the car is running a loop code so it won't die on me. This is just until the other wire comes in. My fuel economy will go down, and it doesn't run as fast. Boooo!
ok so here's the latest news with my plans of turning the 7thgen into a sleeper. Just ordered in a stage2 ACT high performance street clutch from dezoid here on 7thgen. 295 USD + 18 or more USD for shipping.
HC5-HDSS: (H-023,HSD802S ,RB820,PB1002,AT20)
GB Price-$295.00 STREET DISC
Torque Capacity: 223
Pressure Increase: 50% Over Stock
Weight: 11.00 lbs.
will make me be able to run a 75 shot all day without clutch issues, and with its clamping capacity it should allow for quicker engagements which will help my shifting a bit more. i have no idea how much torque i'll have with my dx + CAI, 75 shot, HP full header and the 2.25" custom exhaust that i'm getting from noyzboyz, but i'm sure 223 is way more than enough. What kind of horse peak power do you guys think i'll have?
so psyched...bruno....just point me to the euros.
And for that matter, SIR's, Preludes, RSX's...but sadly not the type-s or SRT-4.

I'm honestly just happy to be driving again. No bill yet, i told them that i won't pay anything until it's completely fixed and i have the original wires that were on the car. As for the mechanic, he can bite me. I'm gonna talk to him one more time when the car is fixed.
Rich, with the 75shot plus intake, header, and exhaust, i would say you'l be in the neighbourhood of 205-210 horespower. The Bolt ons with header, exhaust and intake will give you about 20 hp total. The header will give you 80 % of that number. What does a 75 shot of nos typically take off a 1/4 mile time? 1.5 seconds?

Ok Yes Boys.......It Is Offical Now.....The 2002 White Honda Civic Is History. This Is No Joke It Is Offically Gone As Of Next Week. Be On The Look Out For Dave & His New Ride At Next Week's Meet. Maybe This Week If I'm Lucky (PRAYS). So The LAC Has Offically Lost One 7th Gen For Sure Now.
I Must Laugh At This Though.......It's Gonna Match All The 7th Gens In The LAC My New Ride Is Silver As Well
Gotta Love It......After I Get My New Ride I Will Announce What I Got, SO In The Next Few Days To Come Be Prepared For The Announcement.
That Is All For Now.

i've seen anything from 1.2-1.7seconds
50 shot is usually about a second and a bit.
i figured 115 for the car + 7 for the hp +2 for the cai + 2 for the exhaust MINIMUM...i could be off...but that plus a gaurenteed 75 from the kit = 201hp at the flywheel
assuming a 10-15% loss due to drivetrain that would mean 170-181hp at the wheels peak horsepower....but its alot different with the n20 cause the peak is ......well......peaky

N2O in our cars has been dyno proven to increase the torque roughly double what the hp gains are
i believe the NX 50 shot setup that was dynod.. oh, probably over a year ago now.. increased hp by nearly 60 and torque by about 100 at the peaks

i know that the 75 only means thats the minimum amount you could get....pretty much all cars end up getting about 5-10% more than the shot they're using. The torque though is different...i'm not sure really but i think you got it backwards. i'm pretty sure the torque is roughly half the hp gains. so 75 shot would net 37.5??
double the trque would be absolutely nuts
i'll research

Dave, i'm gonna throw out some guesses. I'm pretty sure it will be an import, in the civic price bracket. So Tiburon, Sentra SE-R Spec V, Lancer (sporty one with bigger engine), SIR, 1.7 EL. Tiburon, no. Sentra, too ugly. Lancer with the bigger engine i could see, SIR (not another Honda for you, ha ha), 1.7 EL, too much wood for ya inside. I'm thinking Lancer, or maybe you'll surprise us all with a Mustang GT. ha ha lol. I don't know.
all the cars you mentioned Bruno were crazy $$...i'm thinking something a bit more reasonable cash wise and i'll say a Accent, Corolla, old style teg, old style lude, or another mid 90's vic.

Hmmm I am looking forward to finding out.
I should be receiving my $ 300 stainless catback shortly, I already have the $120 header and $ 150 downpipe, so as long as I don't have to replace the sway bar, the whole setup should cost me less than $700 shipped! hahaha all stainless mandrel-bent 2.25"

hey coupestylz...saw ur profile...did you dyno ur car? cuz I saw 102hp? you guess that #?
you got the megan racing full exhuast system too...
too bad we have to wait for next spring in order to test out the 1/4mile time...
I may get the flywheel&clutch, then Jetchip&SAFC, then dyno tuning...hope I can do it all by next summer...then i'm done with my car...

Dayum macfay, Can't wait till spring to see what times you run.
No I didn't dyno my car, it's just a guess, I did it because i wanted to post a realistic WHP number whereas everyone else is listing HP at the crank- eg. 127. WHP is WHEEL horse power. so 102 is about what it would be

You drive an LX, correct? If so I'm a little confused as to which downpipe you are referring to. the kamikaze header for lx does not replace the stock downpipe in any way -it bolts up to it. check the picture of it out at bigjoshracing.com

HP, nice Rich. Nice to see some 2 door london peeps doing header and exhaust now too. 4 doors paved the way, ha ha lol. Now 2 doors, go take over and kill euros!! Macfay, i wanna see you run low 15s NA. You are killing Si's with your 4 door non vtec. Sweet!!! Represent!
yes we 7thgens are representing well....some R show, others R go. Macfay...i definetaly wanna see how low you can go NA. Wouldnt mind having a few try's at you all natural...no spray. No way i'm as consistent as a driver, but it'll be a good battle all summer long. Whats your goal for this summer time wise? And what mods have you/will you have done that you didnt last year?

low 15s...um...very difficult to do so...even with the jetchip & SAFC...
unless I get those drag tires, so spinning make us slower 1/4 time...
I hope to kill at least one mustang...hah...may be a dream...
just too bad we have to wait till next spring due to the snow...some dragway still open over the winter...in the state though...
yeah...we can have battles with each other next year with similar mods...and we can see what can be improved by that time...
I may get dunlop fm901 tires next year...16"...that will slow my 1/4mile...but I really want it since I wanna go to those circuit track next year...I went to shannonville one this summer, but the shitty firestone.......really slow me down at corners....
I may also get performance brake pads too...since the rear one should be done by this winter...
in terms of goal...I want to get to 15.7...this is the time that most NA 7thgen with bolt-on got...and I will see what I can do to make it better...but again...those 16" rims...well...
yeah ACT flywheel 600120 streetlite...it will fit our 1.7 civic...actually the trans we have are the same as 6thgen civic...so clutch and flywheel are the same too....

You should be able to run quicker than 15.7 withe the SAFC and jet chip. REDVIC ran 15.7 with bolt ons on his lx coupe before he turboed it. He had INJEN RD intake, HP header, custom downpipe, hi flo cat, full stainless steel 2.25 exhaust, pullies, and throttle body spacer. I don't think he had cam gears. Now he runs low 13s. God damn!!
