hey guys...all this talk about crank pulleys got me a half chub...so i did some research and that DH pulley looks AMAZING!! Turns out a few members with the pulley predict that it'll give a 7thgen with my mods on a 75 shot around 15hp!!!!
the thing weighs 6 onces and is 4" in diameter, compared to the 6lb stock pulley.
So i went out and ordered one...heheehe..dont tell blair
i got the one that eliminates the PS and AC but thats no biggie...i didnt have AC to begin with...and the PS is something i'll get used too.
125USD + 20 shippedUSD. not bad for gains like that.

Yeah, i want that!! Ya think it's better than the UR crank pulley? And does it come with a belt? Oh, and i hope it won't dim my lights ans ****. I'm gonna be running 2 Alpine V12 amps, my 2 12" Cerwin Vegas, components and more than one screen along with a PS2. What do you guys think, am i gonna be o.k? i'll have a nice 3 farad cap for the stereo so that should help, right?
pm the DH guy....cant remember his name. I read he said that the crank one alone wont handle subs..but it'll do speakers and a headunit. But i'm not sure if the capacitor will help. The one with the AC and PS might be better though. Best bet is to ask him.
It doesnt come with a belt. but i dont think the UR does either...i could be wrong. If you do a search it says the size belt we need. Also so that you know this pulley requires trimming of the timing belt cover...no biggie really...but it might be to some.

check this out. A girl on here with her EX and i/h/e and a 75 shot put down....
Dyno WITHOUT the N2O was 120whp and 106wtq.
Dyno WITH the N2O was what you saw 185whp and 208wtq.
wow....please come soon spring

Nice!! Yeah i want the pulley that that will be used with the ac and power steering pullies for sure. Less gains than the other one but still much better than stock.

ya thats crazy..not sure how it happened, but she showed the dyno. Nitrous is actually better for torque than a turbo is cause its a sudden hit of power, where as turbo's spool. I figured 80 ft.lb...or maybe upper 80's but not 90.
She ran a 14.5 on B/F TA's even though her 60' was only 2.3. so its should be a 14.2-14.3 car if she gets good launches.

Damn Rich... you ordered the pully already? That's sweet man... let us see the pully when you get it before it goes on the car.
Anyways, who else is gonna get or is thinking of getting the DH pully? I know I might be... depending on price and how much installation would cost.
EDIT: I'm going to the meet at Fleetway tonight... anyone else?

no no....she's got an EX so its an extra 12 crank horse. but hopefully the pulley counters that..and i think it will.
She was running on better tires and rims than i will be....i'm aiming for 180 whp and 200 ft.lb torque. more reasonable would be hight 170' for hp and then mid 190's for torque to the wheels.
I think with the tires and rims i'll be running a high 14. on a good day late in the year i might see a best time of 14.6.

i'm going for sure. who likes the idea of a dyno day if we could set it up. get LAC, TT, Onpoc, J-bodies...whoever and go to a dyno place and have like 3 runs..with no tuning time in between jsut to get numbers. if we could get like 20 or 25 people it would be like 40 bucks...maybe 50
i talked to DH about it and he's got one set aside for me...my pay pal isnt working right now cause my card expired..so i'll have to send the cash thursday.

No clue. Wondering what's up with Sparta and ownership. Hope they will remain open. Quick question: DH crank pulley for my car. I want it so i can still have my ac and ps pulleys working. So do i order 3 pullies, or is there just one crank pulley that will run with stock pullies? I wanna be able to run my stereo with subs and amps.
