The quote he gave me was 3400/year wich is about 280/month and thats without any tickets. Im fuct I just cant afford like 350 or what ever its gonna be when they count in my tickets. maybe I should just sell my car and by a p.o.s.
So I know all you guys have to deal with the same **** and im whinning here but I need some help. Anyone got any advice or tips or a reccomendation on an insurance company????

Braden, I used the 'trick' to lock the door: pull the handle open and press lock while the handle is still open - the door will lock. It's on old habit left over from before i had keyless entry, becuase i hated putting the key in to lock the door all the time.
As for cheap insurance companies, try Pilot or Economical.

Cool. thanx guys, Ill have to try Belair or economical I tried a bunch of places and it looks like pilot is the cheapest at 280/month and my broker said the 2 speeding tickets wouldnt effect that price at all, I was really suprised to hear that but im not gonna complain. So im gonna call a few more tommorow and if nothing better comes of it than Pilot it will be. still over 120$ more a month than Im used to. ****in insurance! argggg!

What are you thoughts on yours? Do you like it? You're damn lucky getting the 390t!!! They have a whole bunch of new stuff coming out this year. I'll try to dig up the link from slashdot.org with all the pictures.

I don't know how low my car is...but I'm using eibach sportline...and tend to drop more now...
basically okay in city...
but last year, i was hwy 407, big snow storm, the hwy was full of snow...
when I went off to exit, there were so much snows in front of me, I guess it was about the same height under my bumper...
I thought I can just pass through, so I didn't brake or anything...the next thing happened was the front of my car hit those snows...quickly slow down the front end...and the rear end started to slide...the car slided to the right 90 degrees...I thought I would hit the side wall...and I quickly decided to do a little trick...
I pulled up the hand brake, turned left, and gave some gas...my car turned 180 degrees left and avoided a serious accident...I was lucky....

So you guys dont ever regret being lowered with the snow and all?
And are you guys with CAI without bybass valve ever more paranoid about hydrolock with the filter being even closer to the ground now that your lowered??

I'm sitting really low, especially in the rear. With my cat relocated to the bottom of the car, and my neighbourhood never getting plowed, it's hard to get around. Everything catches the bottom of my car. All i hear is scraping, and when there is big chunks of hard snow or ice, yikes!!!!

speaking of snow and ice... my car is completely covered in the ****. Can you guys think of any place that I can park my car indoors for a couple of hours so all that **** can melt? There's snow/ice all up in the wheel wells that I can't get to that I need removed... the **** is annoying and loud.
Oh... I just remembered that WestMount Mall has heated underground parking... I might go there today. Can anyone think of any other places?

I've kept my InJen CAI rather than shorting it a SRI. To me, theres point. Its not like I'm going to be running through a two deep puddle anything time. No problems whats so ever. As long as you don't drive like a nut you'll be fine.
If you look at the vast majority of people that have problems with their CAI, its typically those that live in the south where they get a lot of rain. We're fine up here, even though the snow turns into slush, it won't get into the engine.
Guys, guys, any more thoughts?

I didn't take out mine because of hydrolock, I just popped it off so it won't tarnish the nice chrome piping

cool. thanx guys. Yeah I leave mine on all year but when I hear about some people hydrolocking a get a little paranoid sometimes, and would be even a little more paranoid if I was a couple inches lower. Ive thought about converting it to an SRI but think ill just leave it if you guys who are 2-3 inches lower havent had any problems

still.. to actually suck water in, you have to have the entire filter immersed.. only gonna happen if you're driving through high water
splashes wont do anything, besides get your filter dirty and tarnish the chrome

I got my H&R's used for $120 from someone off this site in Toronto. Me and Big did the install ourselves which saved me a ton of money.
I also got my generic strut bar from my neighbour for free and my drop is mild enough to not need a camber kit.... although it wouldn't hurt to get one... I have very minimal camber.
I always get the sweet deals

whatsup folks. Unfortunately for me, my Goldlines ended up costing over 3 bills after shipping, duty and all that BS, D'oh!
I removed my front sway bar, installed my header, fake cat and exhaust the other day, it took so long I was a few minutes late for work. It's really loud and it smells like a 70's muscle car, it's definately faster though!!!
