wow lancer with 162hp...1/4 would be about mid 15s...NICE CAR...I like Lancer too

Listed to run the quarter in 15.7, with a pro driver and perfect conditions. 7thgen is listed to do it in about 16.1.

there was already cop in the turning lane and a 7th gen sitting in the middle lane.. and i thought to myself 'damn.. this guys car is LOW'
then 'hey.. wait a minute.. thats Braden!'
anyway.. i hope you werent playing with that screen next to the cop!
sorry i didnt say much, just didnt want to hold up the traffic

A 2.4 litre will take things like intakes and exhausts alot better. Expect to see gains from a CAI go from 2-3hp to 6 or 7 or possibly 10, depending on how restrictive the factory one is. Hell you could make an intake that would probably give you decent gains for less than $100.
do you think you'll have any performance mods on it for spring time Dave??

I really like the look of that car.. I plan to have a new Mini Cooper S in 2005 when my lease is up.. SO I too will be out of the 7thgen crew.. But until then, I'll adore my 7th gen

so heres what happened with my post on LAC under the civic bye bye thread. I read coupz post about seeing it and saying nice at the very top of the second page. I assumed that you had already told them to so i stupidly posted a reply saying that "i just lost my house to APRboy" referring to the post i made before about bruno betting his farm that it was a lancer and i said no i bet my house it isnt. So anyways i realize like as soon as i hit submit and then try to change it but turns out i wasnt signed in and couldnt edit the guest post. Dumb me. 
So i messaged Braden and Jeff who were both online and told them to erase the post ASAP cause i didnt want to spoil the surprise. 
Then i made 2 posts under neith Bradens "what?" post in the hopes of no one realizing what the hell the "guest" person was talkin about and piece things together. Anyways...Jeff erased it for me pretty sooon after so no one could figure it out. the one B edited was just a comment about how an SRT-4 would be nice. So thats the story, my bad but i fixed it no harm no foul.

hey Dave, you never did answer my question....what mods are you thinking about getting?? I have no clue what kind of things are available for the Lancer yet, but like i said before...performance mods will give you alot more bang for the buck.

Hey Bruno...what's the story on your car? I know you sold the intake, and the bumper and grill..you're looking to sell the rims and the wing...are there gunna be more peices parted out or is that all of em. I remember you said you were going more performance now with the V2, and i'm guessing light rims like spoon or rota's...anything else planned? If i remember correctly you said you should be in the 15's for spring...and you got me all exited now...i might have to get a bed pan to keep me underwraps of what might be on the way
i for sure wanna see how that V2 works for ya..i've seen the dyno that AEM flaunts with the 2000 dx having 16 horse gains....sounds too good to be true.
if it works that good though i'm getting it for sure

Rich, i'm thinking of going lighter and getting some 5Zigen FNORCs. The 5 spoke ones in 18" only weigh 17 lbs. I'd save 4.8 lbs per wheel. The intake i wanna try just cuz it is supposed to have crazy *** gains. I thought i'd be the first in London to try it on a 7thgen. The wing just slows me down, lol. Still trying to find a nice bumper in urethane. That's my main priority now.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, my cousin lives 2 houses up i believe. One floor like yours. He threw a party on Friday night and yes my car was stuck on your street infront of his place. I managed to get it home (only 50 feet away ha ha) but i made a lot of noise doing it. Thought i was gonna have to leave it there.

i was wondering what was up...any more performance mods coming?? Pop for a turbo maybe?
that would be to sweet....but 5000 is tough to swallow

I actually think I've seen you at an LAC meet I was at now that I think of a Yellow Saturn-driving girl.. My friend Perry has the older Celica that is very yellow also.
