LONDON PEEPS: General Discussion (Part II)
Ya i think it'd be fun, we could all go to Sparta a couple of times and race for bragging rights...
It works out perfectly too..since Dennis is a Auto and So is Falcon...and me and Joski would match up well with Bruno and Braden.
Hey Bruno..you're gunna run in the 15's? I'd love to know what you got planned performance wise for your car. 15's without nos..i'm thinking all the bolt-ons, lighter rims and good tires.
So who's interested in setting this thing up? There's so many 7thgens in LAC it'll be good to add a little friendly competition.

DONE!
what's really frusterating is that after finishing what you think is everything, its not really over!!
btw, for anybody who's struggling on some of those stupid circuits, they are much more difficult than even the last few races in the game... some of those circuits took me 15 tries, but i beat the last three races on my first try... go figure
btw, the widebody looks nice

My car is in the shop again today. Dammit!! My check engine came on Sunday night. So i took it in on Monday morning. It was a bad wire coming from the 02 sensor. So they fixed it. I had to pay 130 for labour because it wasn't under warranty due to the fact that i gutted my entire header and exhaust system. Fine. It drove fine yesterday. This morning, i started the car. I began driving down my street and it started to choke. I would give the car gas and it wouldn't do anything. I changed gears and it moved a bit. I couldn't get the car over 40 km/hr. I managed to get the car to the dealership and it's been there all day. They drove it around the block after the car had been sitting there for 5 hours and said there's nothing wrong. So they are gonna try again tommorow. I hate not having my car!!!

That could just be for an oil change due or a servicing of some type. Well, this is what i get for wanting more power out of my car. Still well worth the hassle. I hope they figure out the problem and not say that there isn't anything wrong with it, because there is.

how far you can move in each gear? may be the clutch or timing belt/chain...hard to say...since those guys in dealer manage to drive after 5 hours...um....were you still in gear while it started to choke?

I talked to a Honda service guy this morning and at 52500 the light comes on so you can see if anything is up with your car (oil change, scheduled service, etc.). I didn't do the Type D service because it was 258.88 or something, so he suggested I do that at 56000. Only problem is, some of the stuff that's covered in the Type D service I don't need.. Especially an oil change because I use Amsoil 5w30. I also purchased brake pads that i'll be putting on that they would normally do in a Type D service. Anyway, my car isn't really ill! Just thought I'd share

I could move a bit in each gear. It wouldn't move after a certain speed so i would put it in another gear like 2nd to 3rd and it would go a bit. Maybe 10km/hr and then it would just sit there and choke and not do anything. SO i put it back in second and it would go a bit and then do the same thing. I made it to Commissioners and Viscount. THe light turned red. The car stalled. I started it up. Revved the **** out of her. WHen the light turned green, i hammered her and she drove fine till the dealership. I have no clue what's wrong. I'm gonna call the dealership right now. IF it's the 02 sensor, i have to pay for everything. ****!!!!

I didn't do the Type D either...my car is now 77500km already...I did the type C, then skipped the type D, but got new front brake pads, resurface front rotor...didn't do anything to the rear brakes, new transmittion oil, flushed engine coolant at 65000km...recently adjusted the Valve Clearance...and that's it...just keep changing the oil every 6000km....my car is still in good shape...
APRboy, keep us update about ur car....hope nothing serious...

Well, they think it's my aftermarket 02 sensor wires that fried the original wires on the car. They were spliced together in order to have enough length to reach the bottom of the car where i relocated a new hi flo cat. They are going to leave the 02 sensor alone and just change the wires and put ones of a new 04 si sedan on. They should be long enough. Hopefully this will fix it and i won't need to change any of the 02 sensors. Someone told me that the 02 sensors can cost up over 200 each!! I'm without my car for another day at least. THey don't have any wires in stock, hopefully by tommorow they should. I'll keep you guys posted. This sucks!

hmm.. thats strange man..
sounds like they might be screwing around with you.. or just not putting much effort into fixing things
there would have to have been something really wrong with the wire for it to have caused a malfunction with the O2 sensor.. either the wire was broken somewhere or was grounding on something
hopefully this wire doesnt cost you big money
and hopefully its not a damaged sensor (cause yeah, they are expensive)... but if it is, dont buy a new one.. we'll go down to a junkyard and rip one out of a wreck
anyway.. i have my own car problems.. just blew two more headlight bulbs (one in the projector headlight, and one in the projector foglight)
damn im getting tired of this.. anybody know of some really good quality bulbs??
on an up-note, i finally got a new transformer for my underglow (but that doesnt mean anything since i wont be using them in the winter)

Hopefully i'll get my car back tommorow. THis sucks not having a ride. Oh well. As for bulbs, use the OEM ones for the winter. I'm tired of having to change the hiper ones all the time. My projectors came with OEM bulbs.
