Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Many people have been using the 21mm rear quite some time without no issues.
No, you won't need one.

I can't wait to get mine back on.... It looks naked without it. I don't like it at all. Finished painting the clear coat about an hour ago. Waiting 48 jours before I reinstall to let it cure

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Threw on the DC5 rear sway bar this morning.
That is easily the best money I've ever spent on my car. Insane improvement from just a thicker bar, who knew?
If anyone wants to find a good one cheap, got to clubrsx.com and contact people who're parting out 05-06 Type-S RSXs. I got mine for $75, but a week later, there was a guy selling one for $50

one of the most worthwhile enhancements to our rides.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Had some exhaust work done today! Got my new Magnaflow muffler and 4" tip welded on. (The muffler guy didn't weld the tip exactly where I wanted it and claims it's permanent, but whatever...)
Looks better than the ol' can in my opinion. Sounds good too. There's a lot less of that "droning" noise when I'm cruising along.
I also had the mid-pipe section re-bent for more clearance and had a flange flattened out to prevent vibration on the floor pan.
All in all, the shop did excellent work for only $120. I'm going to ask the welding guys at my school if they can break those tack welds on the tip and slide it onto the muffler a bit closer though. It sticks out too far IMO

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Looks great man! I see you went with the same muffler I went with but a slightly different style tip. Worth it huh!!!!
My newest project is side skirts. got some type A's and have painted them with REAL auto paint this time not Dupicolor.
I have some "orange peel" in the finish and am going to so dome wet sanding to finish it up. Ill post pics in my build thread when its done!

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Totally worth it. It's quieter, but not too quiet... and it has more of a growl to it now. Mostly I'm happy with thw way it looks compared to the can.
Can't wait to see your side skirts! I don't think I'd like side skirts on mine, I can't even decide if I like how it looks with my front lip on.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
im a noob when it comes to cars but trying my best to learn all and apply it to my ride when the time comes, so my question is when you lower your vehicle and the tires are so close to the fenders and the wall of the wheel well how exactly does your tires not rub against any of that when you hit a bump or even when you turn your wheel?

I do know that Krud is running 225/45's and had issues initially with rubbing. You can also Roll the fenders which is what I had to do with my 215/45's. Even with the rolling of fenders I was rubbing cause I was so low so I went to 205/40's and am slammed with no issues.
There are people who run +0 offset with stretched tires and dont rub and some that do. Depends how extreme you want your setup.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
New exhaust clip!
Does anyone know what causes that little back-pressure vibrating noise when you let off the gas? I never had that noise in the old can muffler.

And no worries, I didn't even reach the speed limit in 3rd gear, lol slow

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
I like it man..... needs MOAR LOW IMO.... also some skirts would do those side some justice.
Not sure what it it but the sharp drop off of the rocker panels of the 04/05 bothers me...
Ride looks clean and dope tho
