Lmfao...
I just found out, the dealer I got my Grids also have the P45R bronze in 4x100...No chrome lip but....
17x9.5" with +15 offset LOL
and 215/45/17 isnt THAT big, that's what I'm running.
I'm on a 7.5" rim too, it's ever so slightly stretched.

A) has thick enough spokes to hide brakes better, but thin enough to look sporty
B) has spokes that extend far towards the outer rim, not get cut off really short and have a tick outer rim :P
C) has a look of "depth" and not utter flatness.
This isn't as easy as I thought it would be

Really? I think it looks good really unsaturated like that.
Now, the wheels I have currently look really really gross in bright sunlight.
That's the whole reason I picked bronze over gold. Gold is way too flashy.
That bronze actually looks really modest. I think it's ruined by the bright red calipers behind it, lol

Dunno if you're into these, but they don't look half bad on blue.
$450 from seller, good deal for any wheels in that condition.

Blegh... i don't like those for several reasons.
Too big
Spokes are too squarish looking
and for some reason I really don't like black wheels with silver lips...

Exactly the problem.
Go big or go home, especially with wheel lips that create a smaller wheel illusion...
That aside, i got my HID projectors today.
Wish me luck, because I have no idea what the hell I'm doing.

I kinda agree.
But I'd never seen a disassembled projector in person before, so i didn't have a good idea of the size it would be when i ordered it. I was worried that certain shrouds would be too large. Now I realize i was wrong, lol

Thought about it, but I'm not sure what parts to paint... I don't want the entire housings black. A lot of people I've talked to are also advising me against doing that. dunno why

Not really hard, just work slowly and carefully.
I can honestly say, the hardest part was taking the battery in and out of the car with all the new wires in the way, lol
The bit where you have to heat up the headlights in an oven to soften the glue was a bit nerve-wracking, but it all went smoothly and I was able to use all the stock glue to melt them back together. Splicing the bi-xenon hi-beams into the halogen hi-beams was tricky only because I didn't cut the wires with enough slack and had to make some really awkward 3-way soldering connections.

Otherwise you can just plug the projector into the OEM high beam socket, or leave the halogens plugged in ad the projectors unplugged.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Question, why cant you do this and keep your lights the same? like i had 8000k HID low beams and 6000K HID high beams, why not put the projector in and just run that same setup ?? just wondering lol
