Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Any future power upgrades? If you don't want to spend the money on a turbo get the crower stage 1 cam it will be the best investment you can make power wise. It's a little time consuming, but is hands down the best bang for your buck. For 360 bucks will give you a solid 125-135whp.

I've even thought about the stage 2 and new valves, but for the same reason that Kenny mentioned, I keep shooting it down. My auto makes that a bad combination.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Nothing ricer about genuine JDM goods my friend
But if you guys seriously think I'm headed in a super ricey direction (white wheels, red H on front, debage "Civic" and "EX" on the rear) Please let me know or force me to stop, lol. I don't want to make a huge mistake with my upcoming transformation.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Well, most people on here and on my facebook voted for white rims, so there's no changing that. I already have a guy ordering the gloss white powder for them. I don't think the red H's on the wheels and grille would make it too ricey, especially if I switched to a sedan grille.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
They're on the car now and they look so awesome. I regret nothing!
Pics will come later when it stops raining on my freshly cleaned car
And as much as I HATE walmart (I also work there, lol) I got an amazing deal on mounting and balancing the new rims. They swapped my tires over and balanced them for only $18 total. WOW. And they did a decent job too, I just woulda put the wheel weights further toward the back of the rim.
But now I definitely DEFINITELY want to change my interior to black.
I'll need to find some black OEM seats but I think I'll spray dye the rest.
Anybody have any good/bad experiences with VHT vinyl dyes? At $10 a can, It's a lot better than gutting the whole interior for remnants of a scrapped EM2.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Don't use any spray on dyes.
You'll regret it.
Since you work at walmart, they have little packs of dyes you can mix with water, to dye your carpets and fabrics. and its only about $2 a pack.
I personally would not change the interior of the car, but if you were to do it, that would be the best way.

Dash, I've got nothing.
But most the plastic panels, you can just replace.
Honestly, too much work imo, and bound to run into problems.
Just learn to like your tan interior, like I have :P

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
even when I'm 138 years old and lying on my death bed, i will still not like blue and tan togehter.
If my car was white, black, silver, dark grey, or any shade of green, then I'd have absolutely no problem with having a tan interior. But blue... it's just so wrong.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Gonna buy some dyes and test them on separate plastic panels and some scrap pieces of carpet to see how well it works. Then I'll make the decision.
Anyway, as she sits now, the new tire fitment should allow me to add another inch to my drop! If I can manage to bust loose the jam nuts on my coilovers that is... the lower you go, the harder they are to move.
Also planning on finding a sedan grill, and doing a license plate relocate.
I'm liking the new look so far

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
In the closeup image, you can see how much space I have now. My old setup was as near to the fender as possible without tucking.
