DIY: Big 3 Ground Wire Upgrade
Here are the wires that are done for me. (Black is new, red is my old kit)
Since the first few ones are the ones where you make the most mistakes, I made mine first to get the hang of it first
I made all the cables the same length, saving me some extra time from measuring.
There should be enough length for all 3 connections.
I soldered all the terminals on, to ensure connection and that it wont come loose.
Yours will be finished probably tomorrow and sent out Monday.
The battery Neg terminal hasn't arrived yet.
The wires were semi-decent quality (They didn't send me the exact ones I bought), but the terminals are good quality.
Heres the DIY for you to follow, I don't know where my stock wiring went, so you should be able to figure it out from the pix, pretty simple.
Note:
If you have stock radio, make sure to have radio code before removing any battery cables.
If you have aftermarket radio, you're going to have to reset all EQ and station settings.
1. Remove the two bolts holding down the stock engine to chassis wire, replace the wire, and bolt it back down in place.
2. Remove the stock Neg battery terminal, then remove these two bolts holding the battery Neg to chassis and tranny to chassis cable. (Stock is one piece of wire)
This connection is under the fuse box, you may have to remove the stock/aftermarket air filter to access it.
Optional Step:
Then, you're going to want to sand down the connection points to the metal, to ensure the best connection.
3. Put the new wires in place of the old ones, and bolt up the tranny, and chassis bolts.
4. Attach the Neg terminal back on the battery, and tighten it up.
5. Make sure all your electronics work. Enjoy

Nice. Thanks man!
So 2 of the 3 wires are used in the battery terminal / fender-tranny connections? They share the connection point on the fender well?

So Kenny can get his self-gratification....
Desperately need to clean the engine bay...
BTW, my positive terminal lead was so corroded, I had to shear the end off to make the connection. Good thing I got these cables when I did.

Yeah silver on that blue would really set it off (looker). Gunmetal would look like a sleeper (low profile).
Not to change the subject...@Kenny, I did my 4k Royal Purple change and I could not believe how clean that engine was. Ready to run this change up to 10k!

OK, i decided I really really really want to get factory HFP SS-7 (Split 7-spoke 16") rims but I haven't the slightest clue where to find them.
I've searched online at accessory dealers, checked craigslist and ebay, and dug though page after page on forums to find some. But to no avail.
I guess we can't all have what we want :P
Do you guys know where I can find a set of these?
I posted in the WTB section hoping someone would be my savior.

Aren't those the Honda Fit stock wheels?
Honda Part No. 42700TK6A91
A few links to get you started
They come in Chrome and silver, the chrome costs twice as much.

And this was the result.
(I also lowered the body another 1/2" to simulate how low I can go on 16x6.5 rims and different tires, mwahahaha!!)
