The wheels aren't bad, they're just not my taste.
Kind of like a personality issue, is it a civic, is it a Kia lol.
You should get some window visors next

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
And I ran with black lips and sides for 2 months and it was no big deal. People actually told me they liked the unpainted black trim (idiots, haha)
@Kennykid2002 - Meh, I'm not a big fan of window visors. My friend's '02 has them and I think they look kinda tacky, especially on the 04-05s :P
@Max91 - lol, no thanks. My sister said I should paint the silver to match the fiji blue. I think that's a crazy idea and I'm better off getting new rims, haha. Also my parents would probably kill me if I painted my rims pink, lol

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
If I had the rear disc conversion, I'd paint the calipers TEIN green. I also want to do my valve head in that color. But wheels... ehhh... not so much.
I prefer a more modest look to my car (ironic, I know...)
I like it to look like a fancier version of the car that came from the factory with subtle hints at modification.
@PearlVic - Still doesn't change the fact that I don't really like the HFP lip, lol

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
You sick bastard... The sad thing is that people actually do that.
So guys, what's your opinion on the bronze Enkei EV5? If I can't find white wheels that I like, I would probably get these. My only complaints are that the spokes stick out pretty far from the lip and these are actually pretty heavy.
(I'm not planning on getting new wheels soon though, so I'm open for suggestions...)

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
And I know a place that will powdercoat wheels for $50 a piece, so that's not the real issue. I'd rather be able to see the wheel in white before I buy it :P

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
This might be the worst photoshop in human history, but I think you're right, these would look awesome. I might just have to start a search party for any lone Konig survivors...

And might as well do the Enkeis while I'm still awake...

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build

Lol, but in all seriousness, yeah, they'd be nice.
The only alternative is to find a Konig Feather in white, but they don't have the blue lip.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
I've put a lot of consideration in the white Feathers and that's what I'm leaning towards currently. Mostly cause they're light as... feathers!
Opinions on the Enkeis after the photoshop? I think they look pretty good, not to mention that the 4x100 version has less holes in it. Or do you guys know of a similar rim that's bronze 5-spoke with a silver ring? My friends saw the pic and flipped out about how good they looked.
But you guys are pros, so I'm listening, lol

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Lol @Ryan
Finals = Facebook and forum time.
@Dylan
Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of enkies.
But that's personal opinion.
I feel like they're geared towards a different type of car/crowd.
Tbh, I think either the feathers, or my Rota Grids, but gold with chrome lip

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
If I went the bronze route, what about the Rota P45f?
I love white/blue, but my major problem with it is the interior color thant makes it a disgusting clash. If I had black interior, consider white wheels already bought. But nooooooo I had to have "Ivory" or whatever they call that poopy color.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Beige/tan? lol
Hmm, the P45 is not bad, the only grind I have with it, is that for 4x100, they only come in +45 offset.
If they had +30 in 4x100, it'd be perfect.
The way it looks on +45 is really ugly IMO.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
It would be really epic to get a P45R on an EM2, but the offset is probably way too low.
One advantage to the P45F is that I can keep the same tires I have now.
And Honda actually calls that interior color "Ivory", lol
To me it looks like burnt s'mores.

If they actually made one for 4x100, I'm betting you could do it, fender rolled, slight camber, no spacer needed.
Here's what I'm talking about though, gold rotas with chrome lip.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Played around with my friend's EM1 and his wheels today, just for giggles.
He also tried the SE rims on his car, and obviously my OZs are WAAAYYY too big for it.
The Slips don't look bad, but they have a slightly "unfinished" look on my car. They look much better on the EM1

Those enkeis I mentioned earlier have a 37 offset which is the same that I have now.
I can't seem to find where to buy those Rotas in bronze w/lip. I also tried to look for RacingHart CF-Tune R but they seem to have vanished from the face of the earth.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
Haha, finally an answer.
I'd like to go with the Rotas but I can't find where to get them in the bronze with chrome lip. Also with the Enkeis, the tires would still fit. The Rotas are 7.5 wide.

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
What tires are you running now?
And are you set on fat 5 spoke wheels?
They dont make the P45's with bronze/chrome lip.
The dealer I bought my rims from only has black with red lip for the P45's
This would look dead sexy though.

After searching, the enkei website says they do make 17"x7" +38 offset 4x100/114.3 for the EV5.
P/N: 446-770-0138ZP
Good luck finding one

Re: My EM2 - EX SE Build
I've always liked 5 spoke wheels. They look more natural to me. 6 is okay but they can look sorta akward when they're rotated a certain way and the top an bottom spokes form a vertical line, lol
I have some pretty big tires right now...
17/215/45
The Enkeis are extremely easy to find, and actually cheaper than the Rotas.
And YES, they do make the P45F with a lip: http://www.rotawheels.com/wheel.php?id=30
You might be mixing it up with the P45R (which is pictured on that Nissan)
I should contact Rota and see if they'll do a 4x100 version, lol
But I'd have no idea how to make it fit with that low offset...
