We only got 210 hp out of the engine with 11lbs of boost.
We had boost controller issues so i'm going to switch over to a manual controller and a non-ebay waste gate...and eventually up size the injectors.

220 doesn't seem much but we have to look at percentages....90hp is about what these things make at the wheels stock. Add 14lbs of boost and in theory you double hp....so then where at 180hp. So less boost and more hp....im seeing at least 40 percent improvement with the mods....yes, not a lot of hp, but big percentages. It's all good. Stage 5 clutch installed last night with tranny still in car.

Replacing the clutch with the transmission not taken out is a PIA!!!!
Next time i'm pulling the engine and transmission.
It's done, but not without some choice four letter words and some bruises on my arms...did all the work on my back.
Took it for a late test drive around the block and everything seems to work just fine.
Next friday will be my first track visit with the car.
First few hits will be at the 11-12 lbs mark
Each pass i'll be increasing the boost till 18lbs
Should easily see low 13's...

Dude, nice build. Been working on mine for some time now. You have definitely gone above and beyond. But I don't think your getting the most for what you have. Based on what you have you should be close to the 300 marker. 15psi should easily yield another 100hp with good tuning and with e85.

Man, you got yourself a sleeper there once the bumper cover gets back on. Looks awesome...nice and clean!
I was a bit disappointed with only 210 hp at 11 psi.
Maybe there is something being overlooked i haven't done.
Either way i'm going drag racing this weekend with it. Since i have the FID 1000 injectors in it and the stage 5 clutch, i'm gonna do a few passes with the 11 lb waste gate spring then throw in the 18 lbs spring and see what happens.
It's roll racing so i should see low 13's possibly 12's....

Tuning and fuel, you should be running a return system and a in tank fuel pump. Also make sure fuel pump is always geeting at least 12.5 volts. Especially at operating temperature.

DAMN!!!! that thing is clean.
I have two fuel pumps...walburo at the tank feeding my inline pump, adjustable fuel pressure with gauge, and a return line.
Fuel pressure is good!

Re: Ktuner and the D17
Running a Aeromotive 325 intank, this is pumping 325lph at 40 psi, your 255 will only put out 255 at 43 psi if there is a constant 12.5 volts. Check what your putting out at the pump at operating temperature. Usually its less at operating temperature. Your going to want to run a direct power source from the alternator. They sell kits for this. Then make sure your under @ about 60-80 at the injectors. Anything over or under is going to supply too much or not enough fuel. Your A/F sensor should be mounted towards the end of your front pipe for clear readings. With this set up and 15psi you should be close to the 300 marker with the right tuner. Data logging is ok but Dyno is going to be best. You may have to travel or look into tine view remote tuning. Your set up is capable of way more than your getting.

Re: Ktuner and the D17
Also check your voltage at both fuel pumps, usually running two will rob voltage from the other. Running one stong pump will get you what you need. The external pump will usually run hotter and draw more voltage due to not being intank. Efficiency is key.

10-4 on the fuel pumps, i'll check into this.
BTW I had multiple ebay crap parts on the car including injectors during the dyno tune...most of which has been changed out last week.
I haven't posted some pics in a while, so i'll get some this evening after work.
yeah, i want to see 300-350 for sure whether that's at 15 psi or 18...

Yes, i did most everything.
I designed and cut the exhaust along with tack welding it. A good friend did the actual welding.
I ported and polished the head myself then had a local race shop bore out the engine, polish/balance the crank, install king racing bearings, and install the bottom end. I installed the rest of the engine and turbo.
I made VTEC killer style rocker arms...it's constantly in VTEC. I did this since it's mainly a race engine and won't be run under 3500 rpms much. It did take some tuning time but it does idle.
I did the intake swap myself.
The intake swap is not that hard at all as long as you have a drill and a dremel. It was easier since i have the egr turned off...I'm getting ready to make a delete plate.
Here is the link for the swap instructions... https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...2-ver-2-a.html
Since i went with a bigger than usual t3/t4 turbo, mines a gt3582 61mm , i had to get rid of the AC. I live in south Texas, there's never a need for AC down here........
If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.
If you have any
I still have the stock D17 throttle body on it....which I know is restricting me a bit.

tires....360 total.
I sold some racing kart parts earlier this week to cover the expense.
BTW i was instructed to buy slicks in pairs due to roll out specs.

I'm going to go with Barrett racing wheels...just need the tires to come in first to figure out backspacing.
I went with a smaller tire for a few reasons...
1) faster 60 ft times
2) easier on drive train...i still have all original tranny and axles. I do have spare axles and a spare tranny but would like to keep them as spares.
3) since have to shift to 4th, i have plenty of room for more rpms on the top end.
