If you don't push it... you're right... but what are the chances you wouldn't push it hehe. Honestly... there are other civics out there with 150,000 miles on a turbo kit using stock engine internals. There will be costs along the way though, like getting the turbo shaft rebalanced later on, but you should be good.

the only maintenence i have done on my car in the 4000 miles or more i have had it on is changing the oil. You only have to do your regular maintenence.

hey.. i was looking at the lacr webpage and they have a key to correct the altitude to sea level...
Altitude Correction
LACR is 2,710 ft. above sea level.
To figure the altitude factor the formula is as follows:
ET: multiply your et (at LACR) by .97
MPH: multiply your mph (at LACR) by 1.03
This will give you the ET & MPH at sea level.
so catalyst actually ran a 15.000@93mph...
interesting...
only like 5-6 pounds off boost and wheels spinning in the 60ft... what if he didn't spin at all? that would almost shave a whole second off his time... now what if he ran the boost at 8+ psi.... damn... 13 second 7thgen civic....
that's just awesome!!!!

ive beaten a lot of cars. For example, on the way to my show today, i raced my dad in his 85 vette (only upgrades: cam, roller rockers), and i beat him by about 4 cars. He runs 14's in the 1/4 with that car.

For anyone that cares i am friends with the guys from TURBONETICS probably one of the most reputable turbo companies out there. Anyways they will make you a custom turbo t3/t4 for 3,000 thats only 100 bucks more and its here in southern cali. I think personally there turbos are way better. Also everyone here making stupid comments about this guy catalyst not running better times need to research before they talk. LACR is infamous at producing times at least a second slower than the norm. Actually Steph Papadakis in the 2k1 aem drag car ran a high ten there which is ridiculously slow for that car. The wind there is terrible because its desert land and its totally high in altitude. I think for 165 whp thats a pretty good run and even with the best driver you could only beat that by maybe a half of a second im sure in those conditions.
OH and let me clarify that this kit is custom therefore same price for the EX which is obviously the AMG's of civic's lol j/k.

Haha... I live here in palmdale.... I was doing 90 Down the 14 frewway at like 3 am and spun out from a huge gust of wind.... The elevation and the wind totaly suck here... I have to re jet my carbs on my motorcyles lol.
Turbonetics is cool if you in the SImi Valley are or the Sanfernado area, but they are pretty much producing the same product and i i am correct with SF he will install it for 3 grand while turbonetics wont even mail you one for that much. Im pretty sure they use the same componets too. garret air research turbos.

Garrett has proven itself worthy on many cars. I love garrett, and i wouldnt go for anything else.
I know that turbonetics is a good brand, but i will still take a garrett over it.

I was wanting to know if SF has made a turbo kit for the EP yet? I really want to get a turbo soon and I like the results from his kit for the D17. If he hasn't yet, he would be able to find someone on ephatch.com in the area that would donate their car for a prototype.
