Here is the link to the old thread. Read all of it, because we went over a lot of stuff.

It took off like a damn rocket and spun the tires into 3rd gear. Today it is back to 5 psi since it is warm again.
I think and electronic boost controller would prevent these unexpected horsepower gains, and control the boost a bit better. (but the engine and fuel kit held the 10 psi)

Thats looks like a huge intecooler for such little boost you have and turbo. Your hurting your HP there.

We fixed the problem. I was using a cheezy bleed valve to control the boost, and it would move around and change the settings when i was driving. I replaced it with a better quality one, and it has been doing fine ever since (about 5 days now). I am now using the same one that will be shipped in every kit, and you can control the boost in 1/2 psi increments.

I believe that we are going to include a VHS tape or a CD (for the computer) that shows you how to install the kit. If we do the CD, it will probably be a powerpoint presentation, or maybe a web page. We arent sure yet, so maybe you guys could give us some feedback on what you want.
I prefer the VHS tape. So that we see everything being done and not just looking at still pics. Although, the PowerPoint CD is good as well, if you include short video clips and still pics of the different processes...
...just some suggestions.

That's coo! With the CD, it would also be easier for the person to go back to the step that he/she wants to look over again, instead of having to pause, stop, rewind and fast forward with the VHS tape.
i think CD with power point and mpeg's is the way to go...
i have one quastion, how are you going to take paymants? paypal, money orders, personal checks, credit cards..
i would prefer paypal or personal check.
let us know..

well, i believe that i will make the cd's for you guys. I also think the CD is superior because if you are buying the kit online, you obviously have a computer. So i agree that it will work best.

i think SFpower would disagree. We know that the kit works awesome, because i have over 1000 miles on my kit in 3 weeks. Albert (the owner of the fiber images civic) saw my kit today, and he thought it was awesome. Anyways, you will have to wait til SFpower posts the group buy to see the price.
i can bring my car up easy i only live 15-20 mins away. But i think the only way they will use my car is if I buy the turbo kit...... which i am broke a$$ right now so but i am willing to bring it up to let him take measurements off my car for everyone else to be able to buy the kit if they have a EX but its up to them

His sixty foot time is not that impressive...I would guess that he is spinning his tires for the first sixty feet or getting a bit of wheel hop. I am sure if he were to get some better tires and clutch he would be even lower in the 15's possibly high 14's...just like me ;-)

i agree with you kjgracing, I spun the tires for the entire 60 ft. and then some. I am trying to get a set of 15" aluminum rims (only 8 lbs a piece) with some street-slicks, but i dont have the $200 right now. Also, that was my first race in over a year. I was granny shifting and trying not to blow up my clutch.

Let me put it this way.... I hadnt run at the track in over a year. I am running it through the stock exhaust, and only running 5-6 psi of boost. Other than the turbo kit, the only aftermarket parts i have are strut tower braces and stickers. lol.
Emajin, it only takes about 3-4 hours for a complete install, not including the welding time on the oil pan. You dont have to really do anything but take your old crap off, and put this new stuff on.
