I was hoping to do the same with the sleeper look and keep part of the black plastic piece on. Hope it works when you try to put part of it back on. Yup, would love to see the pics. And happy b-day Catalyst.

You MUST cut this part out, or else the piping will hit the bumper and you will have a hard time making it fit correctly.

I think you just have to cut it out. I don't see any way to just remove it. I don't think you can replace just the black part either, just in case you wanted to go back to stock. Would need whole bumper cover.

damn that means i have to give up my foglights again.on my setup i had all the black grill piece removed and parts of my bottom lip to fit the intercooler on.can they use a thinner intercooler just so we dont have to modify much of the bumper?

Yeah it does. I cut out two of the vertical pieces to put in my Catz fogs. Now if I want to trade it as stock I'd have to buy a new entire front bumper cover.

Damn! Yah, that does suck. Hmmm... maybe it'd be better to buy an aftermartket front fascia kit like the Tsunami fron bumper? What do you guys think?

I'm very interested, but I know I'm not gonna have $3000 buy the end of this month. Is there anyway those of us that can't make it for this group buy can get one later, and if so what's the info?

i think that this group buy should be longer than just a month sf... you would get more buys with the kit because most of us would have time to save up enough money for the kit... i say 3 month window from MAY... that gives us MAY, JUNE, and JULY.. we would have enough money by then...

from what i see, we have a lot of serious buyers i don't think all of us have 2900 to spend right away...

A 3 month or more window buy sound really good. Gives everyone more time to save. I definetly want to buy one.

CIVIC808 - I know what you mean about the cost of shipping to Hawaii. It sucks!

I just got back from a 300 mile trip, and my car ran great. I was running up a 8% grade for 12 miles behind my parents pulling a trailer, and at 45 mph in 5th gear, I could accellerate up the hill. My temp guage never moved, and i still have gas! I filled up before we left, and i still have about 1/4 tank left. 300 miles on 8 gal. = 37 mpg. Thats a little less than last time i made the trip (40 mpg), but it is still really great.

okay new update....

he found out that a lot of us don't have the money right away... sooo.. he's gonna make 5 kits with a buy it now option for 5 people that actually have the cash on them right now... then those 5 people would serve kinda like beta testers to the kit... they would drive on it and make suggestions of things that could be better or changed... the 5 kits will be sold at $2900 and it will come with EVERYTHING...

turbo
manifold
all piping
oil lines
fuel system
intercooler
etc...

he'll post the group buy himself once he gets his DSL going... sit tite homies... we're at the home stretch

just a note...i've searched and pretty sure this hasn't been done yet....but we'd like to see a detailed list of everything in the kit. from the intercooler to map to oil lines. an itemized list of what is in the kit.
